How well does it lather?

I apply the Silver Shampoo twice everytime I use it. The first application doesn't lather very much. I rinse and apply Silver Shampoo a second time which lather quit well.

i am looking for one that is sulfate and silicone free as I have issues with both. Where is the inky list?
