No. Either Stereo or 5.1 Dolby (Anything Dolby+ and greater will not work

Does this bypass hdcp or hdcp passthrough?

I performed that way for me (had a newer Apple TV and a fairly old HD TV, and it was getting so almost any movie/show was kicking up an HDCP error, but haven't seen any of those errors after putting this device inline.
