Must read for women
This is my second book by Rujuta Diwekar. I was first introduced by a friend couple if years ago and at that time, I didnt think eating her way and cooking fresh everyday was in anyway practical. Also it was much cooler to be on low carb diets. Boy was I wrong. So I have done all kinds of diet, Atkins, Keto, IF and everything in between. Yo yo'd my weight for years. Also underwent IVF which even created a more havic on my already tortured body. Now I had exhaution all day starting from morning, body aches. Severe bloating, acne, hair loss. I had veen following Rujuta on Instagram and FB for a long time. It was in this miserable state that I picked up a kindle copy of this book. I kind of remembered her original principles from her previous book so decided to incorporate few routines. Its been a week and half later, the first thing I noticed was I dont wake up exhausted or in pain. This small change is a huge indication of how much my body was suffering. Now I plan to continue and make it a routine for myself. Lets see how much damage can I reverse

Sensible book
Explains why women are so obsessed with weight loss when infact it should be about fitness. Explains metabolism, different food groups, gives direction on when to eat what and gives real life examples of how to create diets keeping in mind one's lifestyle. Also shows how we can eat everything provided we follow some simple rules.Only thing I did not like, her writing style is a bit too casual. I've nothing against colloquial language but this book, when it tackles a serious matter comes across flippant at times. Does not have to be serious but could have been interesting and fun without being too easy going.

holistic living
I like the way Rutuja writes. Its not only about the content of her books, all that obviously talks to the practical side in me, but she befriends u with her narrative. After her 1st book, this one again is very practical and should be read by men as well as women. She talks about changing our entire approach towards life and the different relations we have in it. In a country where women are oppressed, its only with education that their conditions would change. I actually plan to gift hard copies of this book to most of my friends.

A great book emphasizing going back to basics
Rujuta makes you follow her with simple flowing conversational-style writing about the most important and ironically often overlooked part of life....eating. She re-directs our attention to forgotten rich knowledge in ancient texts which can be distilled down to a few simple workable strategies of not only losing weight but living a fruitful life. Great job Rujuta!!

Repitition
It is helpful -but seems to be a repitition of the earlier book. I bought this thinking that it may provide further insight if one has other medical conditions-but felt disappointed.

Love Rujuta books !!! One of the best author I have ever read. Thank you so much for opening my eyes about benefits of Indian food !!! After the awareness of benefits , I have started cooking Indian food at home ... Thank you for answering all my questions through your book ...

Great material
Great book which helps women see the better parts of them which they often over look due to pressure from society or media - the only reason it has 4 stars and not 5 is that Kareena's hand writing in her personal note is far from easy to comprehend. But the material of the book is awesome.

Wonderful!!!
Anything you want to know about health and fitness..her books have it. Though it is meant for women..I highly recommend this book to every man so he could contribute to the health of his mom/wife/daughter - women who are always focused on his health.
