Miracle tape! Our young Japanese maple had damaged, snapped branches after a heavy snow this past winter. Rather than remove the branches and ruin the shape of the tree we used this garden tape to hold the broken branches in contact with the trunk and reattach. It’s now June and the branches are healthy and full of foliage. Great product that saved our tree.

Works well for grafting. Has stretch and can cling to itself but not as well as the original buddy tape. Either way, it works well at a fraction of the cost.

I feel like this is just a tiny roll of the plastic wrap you would use to cover food on a plate. It is not sticky at all, and was very difficult for me to use by myself. It kept getting all twisted up when I was using it on my tree (probably a self error). I'm new to graphing and tree care, so I am learning as I go. Maybe that's how it is supposed to be? I just know that it didn't stay on very well, and there was a piece left dangling, which I had to use another product to strengthen it.

I was frustrated at first because this is not an adhesive tape. It was recommended in a fruit tree grafting group I'm apart of so I got it to give it a try. First round of grafts failed and I thought it was the tape. After practice and research I found it was the way I wrapped the graft. Second round of grafts the scions took and were putting off growth within the week. I found after practice the tape became easy to use and it preformed well, holding up to the elements with ease. I like that it comes with two options, best value I've found and it works well!

Bought these for my son. He grafts a lot of apple trees, plums and pears. Tape works well. Will buy again

Didn't save the ripped branch

2 Rolls, although one roll appears with a greenish tint, and one is clear, both are actually clear as they unwrap ,,,, but they are extremely thin mil in thickness (less than 1 mil) and VERY GENTLE against the cambium outer layer of a plant. I needed a stronger secure wrap to mend a split bush branch of 1/2” diameter, so I temporarily fastened with string (higher up) and then wrapped as tight as this G-Tape would hold without breaking ,,, many many wraps, and gently wrapped a sleeve of recycled thin cardboard around and then a belt wrap of Gorilla Tape for longer term strength. This wrap is very fine in thickness, it stretches easily so for strngth multiple wraps are needed.

We had a deer snap our young fruit tree, so we bought this in hopes it will survive. So far so good! It's holding up well and I love that there is plenty of tape to use in the future. Great price as well ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
