Sizing options far better than one-size-fits-all
My physical therapist suggested this brace for my medial meniscus tear. Wearing this protected my knee and allowed it to heal. Be sure to measure you knee as the instructions direct. In my opinion, the brace is better suited for a man’s leg. Women can have a different shape. The top was tight for me because I have some chubbiness around my thigh that my husband has never had at any weight. But I doubt there is a manufacturer that allows for that. Still - the brace made all the difference in my recovery.

Short lived support
My son has worn through at least five of these braces in two months. They just don’t hold up to sporting activities. The stitching comes apart at the seam, and the fabric stretches and thins easily. These are recommended by athletic trainers and doctors, but if you can find something more durable, you should.

Life saver
My boyfriend unfortunately dislocated his knee for the second time at work and workers comp disnt get him the proper therapy and treatment needed for him to heal. This is the only thing along with walks that has made him feel safe to walk. He sleeps in it, work in it, washes it weekly and since he washes it with his work clothes he is on his third pair. But its worth buying it 100x it makes you feel secure and does the job

Works but longevity is no there
They helped prevent my daughter’s knees from dislocating. She has patella Alta so her knees easily dislocate. The knee braces don’t hold u much longer than a year which is unfortunate.

Good purchase
Recommended by physical therapist and has made improvements since day one in stabilizing my sons knee after an injury to his acl and medial meniscus.

Very tight and uncomfortable
Even though the size chart said my measurements would be a small, the brace was extremely small. It was very tight and so tight around the knee cap that it was painful. I could not bend my knee. I then ordered a medium and it was way too big. Sent both braces back.

Doesn't last
This is the 6th one my daughter has gone through. Ordered on June 12, today is July 15. She has worn this particular one about 8 times. They stretch out and don't stay up with just a few wears. The seams fall apart and the cross patellar velcro rips. I am getting frustrated with this. Her doctor prescribed this and we were paying huge through them for it so I looked and they had them on Amazon for much less. We have tried both the drydex and neoprene versions- neither one last for more than a couple months with sporadic wear.

This brace runs small
I couldn’t find a size chart for this product in this listing. Which I think is ridiculous. All the size charts I found online for Donjon braces were consistent that a size small measures 15.5-18.5 at the upper thigh for a size small brace. My daughter measured at 16. So she should have barely fit into this brace. It should have been a little loose. This brace is tight on her. I don’t normally write reviews but the measurements are extremely misleading. If you’re going to pay this kind of money for a brace it should fit you. The brace itself is excellent. It’s well built…not chunky and has great support for the patella. My daughter dislocates her knee easily. We will be able to keep this brace because it will stretch. but being that she fit the bare minimum measurements to fit into it…this brace should have lasted her a few years. It will not. I read in other reviews there is no return policy which to me feels fraudulent since the measurements are obviously off and this runs extremely small.
