My old laptop power supply unit began to emit a high frequency sound, almost a white noise, and after a few weeks died. Well, I didn't want to invest in a new laptop battery or new laptop when this laptop is a gem so...new power supply. Works perfect!

Not much need be said: it works properly.

I've used many replacement chargers over the years. Some lasted a couple of weeks, the best lasted about 2 years. The problem with the 2 year charger was the build quality. The wires were quite short and the outer wire cover would crack or pull out of it's connection exposing the small inner wires which had to be covered with tape or could be easily broken. Ultimately, this resulted in a charger almost literally held together by tape. To give it it's due, it's still working and i have it in a drawer "just in case". This charger looks and is built like the one that came with my computer when it was new. Heavy duty, with a long cord and three prong plug, it stays almost cool to the touch. Maybe it will die tomorrow, but it's going great after 2 weeks.

Needed this adapter for use on a ProBook 4730s and works as advertised. Looks to be a good value for the purpose needed as the laptop needed an adapter that would fully charge the battery and this 90-watt adapter did that on the first try. Am counting on this functionality to continue.

Thought I was having a battery problem on my laptop as the battery level kept dropping. Went down to 20% so I purchased a new one from Amazon. Found the replacement battery wasn't charging either so I read some blogs that suggested it could be the power supply. Sure enough this power supply solved the issue and has been running great for several months now.

I misplaced my original charger so I bought this one to replace the lost one. It works great, the quality is great, It looks great, I'm great and Tony the Tiger says "They're GRREAT!"

I received this charger Sept 3, and used it straight away. It was working fine, but did get really hot, and fast, like other buyers mentioned. It is now Dec. 31st and this charger has completely died on me. So it lasted a little of three months and now I have to replace it again. There is no damage to this product: open wires, cracked adapter. It just was working the night previously and I woke up this morning and it was dead. On to the next...
