Very rich in smell
These are legit star anise. Before I even opened the box I could smell it through! 😂 I bought these for my Christmas tree and I can’t wait to add them to bring my tree to life through aroma! Freshness is definitely there, I’m sure they’ll last as long as I keep them away. All stars are full and have seeds even roots. I’d recommend 100/10 if you’re looking for real star anise. Worth the buy!

Great for Thai Ice Tea. Fair Price. Quality Product.
Good quality. Bought to make Thai Ice Tea because a recipe on YouTube said to get some. This adds a nice flavor. The packaging is good and the little star anise are not broken or crushed. Price is fair. You get a lot of star anise.

Whole pods.
This is a big bag of star anise. It is mostly whole pods. Very low percentage of broken ones, although that has no bearing on the flavor. I could tell they had been kept well by the fresh flavor.

The smell is amazing!!
Good amount in bag, not many broken. Beautiful looking, wonderfully aromatic. Got for stove-top potpourri. Looked at a lot of brands before ordering this one because of the reviews of other brands saying most were broken and part of the potpourri is the look of all the ingredients. Right now I have the rest of the bag in a bedroom, and wow is it beautiful smelling in there!!
