MasterShower 60" metal shower hose

There are a lot of sub-par plastic shower hoses out there. If you want yours to last without leaking, my dad (a plumber for forty years) says you really want a brass hose. This one appears to be very good quality and it has been working well with no leaks. Solid chrome plating is fairly easy to clean.

It is a simple hand shower hose, and there may be less expensive options. But since I purchased Kohler hardware for the shower head, the hand shower, the hand shower rail, the shower stem, it seemed ridiculous to entertain a non-Kohler option. This way I know the finish on all of the items will be consistent.

I know there was one negative comment about not having a swivel end but if you read the instructions one end is a swivel end and the other is not. If you push both ends up and pop out the washers you will see both are different. I am very impressed with this hose. I bought a plastic one before and wasn't impressed. This one is very solid and looks like it will last forever.

The hose feels and looks to be made mostly out of a strong plastic, not metal. The length is very accommodating. Disappointing quality given Kohler's reputation years back.

I bought this item 5 years ago for about $50. The shower hose is splitting apart where it connects to the shower head. There are just two of us adults that use it and are very careful so I don't understand why this didn't last much longer for the money. Now the price is $72 for the same hose, a 44% increase! I don't recommend this product when you can buy a generic replacement for under $20 with excellent reviews on Amazon.

Very pleased with the metal hose. My previous hose started leaking, no doubt the rubberized inner lining. I tried a longer hose, without realizing that the longer hose leads to a greater pressure drop, so water just barely trickled out. Until I found the "water saver" insert: it is a plastic washer that restricts the flow of water coming from the shower head, so once I removed this, shower was back to good water flow, with this hose. I'd buy it again.

Replaced 20+ year old metal shower hose. Not nearly as stiff as the original, Like it much better.

i am now to sure i would buy again they look like standard threading andif that is true i am sure the hoses can be purchase for less

We bought this with KOHLER K-9514-CP Mastershower 60-Inch Metal Shower Hose, Polished Chrome and Moen A701 Handshower Bracket, Chrome. Our previous shower hoses would always twist or kink or be in the way. This one is metal and lays flat. My husband read a review that said it was twisting, but he is wondering if they connected the ends to the wrong pieces. The instructions tell you what to attach the spinning end to so if you follow the directions, you should be good to go. All in all we are very happy!

We purchased this for a home renovation in 2020, but only completed the home Reno and installation in 2021. The metal on the oustide of the hose snapped after 2.5 years of on and off use as we have a rain-shower head in addition to the hand-held shower. Contacting Kohler support for Canada was a nightmare, we contacted one number that asked us to contact a second number who asked us to contact the first number -- they hired the same process consultants that are on retainer for the Federal Government. The high price point is not commensurate with the quality and warranty support.

They perfect length for out shower and made to go with the Kohler chrome handhelds like the Awaken.
