This razor allows more of the blade to be visible, which helps me guide my lines much more precisely. It gives better control when shaping edges. Overall, a great razor and works really well.

Very solid

A good purchase and good value, I have multiple straight razor and have purchased blades from various vendors, This particular unit comes with Japanese steel blades (however, made in Pakistan) and I have to say, these have to be the sharpest, longest lasting blades I've yet to use. The razor itself has a pro level, quality feel with a standard easy change blade change mechanism

Great product

I bought this razor as a replacement for my old Tondeo. This razor will be used primarily for har cutting. Upon preparing the razor, I first noticed that the blade is smaller in length than my Tondeo. I thought this would be a problem since not only do I use the razor for finger cutting but also razoring over or under comb. The balance is good both closed and opened. I have relatively big hands and had no problem with the fit or balance it easy to hold. I decided to try it out on my son’s cowlick to balance its weight and fall. This razor worked perfectly. Granted the amount of hair that sees the edge of the blade is smaller than I was use to, it pays off in maneuverability. The smaller blade was made for small detail work. The fact that it comes with as many blades as it does is also fantastic. The blades are plenty sharp (not quite persona level) and have a nice glide to their action; I didn’t experience any catching or jerking. After I finished I let my teen daughter hold it. It fit great in her smaller grip, which speaks well of its balance. I can’t wait to try it out on a full head of hair. The razor aesthetically is quite nice. Seems to be well made. The only hesitation I would have regarding face shaving is blade length. Until I try it for that, I can’t see how it would give a wide stroke in the 1,4,5,7,9 and 10 positions. Time will tell: but in the narrow areas around the upper and lower lip I expect it to do great. I have no worries about the grip and balance for reverse freehand or reverse backhand stroke. Overall I would buy this again and recommend it for hair cutting.

I'm blown away by the Facón Straight Razor! The craftsmanship is exceptional, and the blade is razor-sharp (pun intended). The handle feels comfortable in my hand, and the weight is just right. Shaving with a straight razor takes some getting used to, but the results are worth it - super close shave, no ingrown hairs, and a sense of tradition. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their shaving game!

Lames rechange

First time I use a shavette and I must say it does a better job than the regular razors. For anyone who hasnt tried shavettes before, you have nothing to loose, its cheap and does the Job. Highly recommended!

This shavette feels solid in the hand heavy, well-balanced, and not slippery at all. It gives a very confident grip while shaving. One thing worth mentioning is the blade exposure: it does stick out a bit more than usual. For experienced users this won’t be an issue, but beginners or those new to shavettes should be extra careful, as it can easily cause nicks and cuts. I personally didn’t face some of the problems other reviewers mentioned, like the handle loosening or the blade falling out. I also didn’t use the included blades since I already shave with my preferred brand. Overall, I think it’s a good purchase and deserves a solid rating. Just a word of caution for new users: take your time and respect the learning curve, because shavettes are less forgiving than safety razors.

Por el precio excelente. Buena calidad constructiva y buen acabado anodizado. Desconozco aún la resistencia a la corrosión pero parece que no poca. Como toda navaja es muy compleja de usar y peligrosa si no se tiene soltura. No lo recomiendo para afeitado completo si no lo has hecho nunca. Yo llevo barba y para definir es perfecto, y mucho más preciso y económico que las normales tipo mach3 que 5 unidades parece que están hechas de cuerno de unicornio por el precio.
