ZooBoo Men's Cotton Kung Fu Uniform Short Sleeve Chinese Shirt

Perfect fabric and just thick enough

The quality of the fabric is excellent as is the color (I got the bright red one in honor of Chinese New Year). The material is a rough linen style of 100% cotton and is on the thicker side of what's standard in a shirt. The shirt is excellent quality and very well made. When I got this I tried it on but it was a tad tight, which meant that after shrinkage (which always happens to cotton clothing) it would be too tight for me. The XL shirt is labelled 44/190, which means it's closer to a large than to an extra large. Thus I have to send it back. They make an XXL so I'm reordering that. As an aside, this has no buttons, just the fabric "frogs" often used in antique Chinese sewing that take a bit of dexterity to button.

I was a little iffy on buying this because of the sizing, but the sizing is pretty accurate. Looks great, materials feel good.

I bought this shirt to use during kung fu class and it seems to work well enough - although for a person my size (5’9” @ 180 lbs) probably should have gotten the XL. It does seem a little tight around the shoulders when doing movements and I prefer my practice clothing to be a little more loose. That said, it’s a generally well made piece of clothing with good material and looks great while worn. However, after only a few washes, the threads holding the tang buttons to the front of the shirt are starting to unravel, making them loose. I’ll have to reinforce them soon by re-sewing them. The price is reasonable, however, I was a little disappointed to see threads coming loose after such a short period of time. Recommend line drying to mitigate this issue somewhat.

Husband liked the shirt and it looked good. But he's wearing it for Tia Chi class and therefore it wasn't a good fit across his back. Larger size needed. 178 lbs/6ft.

Size up twice! Runs small. I needed to return it.

These have today's most comfortable cool shirt to wear being 63. I've worn many shirts, but they are wonderful for the summer, with short sleeve, keeping you totally cool for the long sleeve. For the cold night

This is a real shirt, not full of cheap synthetic materials and whatnot. It is one of my favorite pieces of clothing now. It can run a little on the short side as it fit me perfectly and I am only 5'7" and wearing a large so if you skinny tall guys are getting one take note.....Other than that I really do love this product and have not gotten any discounts or favors for this review.
