Best to have gauges hooked up.
So far this has worked better than anything else I have tried. I used this in a 3ton mini split that I couldn’t keep charged for more than a month, I have not had to add any refrigerant since I ran this through the system.

Leak seal doesn’t work!
I had a small leak in an R-22 Trane system and used this product exactly as instructed on or around August 20, 2025. Less than a month later, on September 19, my tenant reported that the AC stopped working again. The refrigerant had completely leaked out, which means the product did not work at all. Based on my experience, I would not purchase this product again and cannot recommend any of these leak seal solutions—they’re essentially useless. The only feature that might have any value is the UV dye, which I’ll now use to try to properly locate and repair the leak.

So far so good
Had a small leak. Bought it and followed the instructions. Tried to add gas, and didn’t see the PSI goes up, so I thought it didn’t work. When the summer arrived few month later, I saw that I have way too much gas. Had to take a lot off. This product actually worked perfectly (at least so far :)). I’m very happy with the results. Really recommended if you have small leak.

Seems like old stock as it did not flow Did not seal leak and no noticable UV leak detection.
Had it professionally injected into our AC system. Tech had difficulty getting it to fully flow into system. He said it might be old stock and gummed up inside. My AC still has a slow leak just as it did when this was inserted. No change.
