Great product
Installed the plugs on the water pump and intake manifold to block off un-needed ports. Had to really wrap them with a few layers of tape to keep them from leaking but afterwards, worked flawlessly.

Very short plugs
Just be advised these are short! It is possible depending on your hole that you may simply screw the plug all the way through. I first pulled out the 1/2 plug for an air manifold end, looked nice, grabbed a 1/2" allen and it was just to large so I figured "Metric"? Nope that didn't work either. So I ended up with an old 1/2" allen I had and worked it on the grinder until I had a fit. Next up was a 1/4" NPT hole. This is were I had to give up If I tightened any more to stop the leak I swear i was going to run out of thread and drop the little 1/4" plug into the manifold. So far this is my experience with these plugs UPDATE. Be advised these are NOT tapered plugs therefore will just keep turning without tightening and sealing. Pretty much JUNK!

As per description
I utilize various pipe plugs for an engine I am working on. I found the aluminum plugs very soft and possibly unable to get them back out without stripping the hex The brass plugs seem to go deeper into the same hole as the steel plugs. So where I have to go shallow I use the steel plugs otherwise the brass. I will not use the aluminum as it was very hard getting back out after checking fitment, I rounded the hex. Hope this helps.

secondary uses
I purchased this to use in a car build. however they did not work, not because they were wrong size or poorly made, more of the vehicle being extra picky. I did find a good use for them though. I installed a internal threaded brass nipple on my bong and used one of the plugs to close it when not using it so the water doesn't get spilled. good for other uses Im sure I will find here soon.
