Suitable for 1 or 2 pairs
Updating my Mother's phones and made a few extension cords - these work fine, no issues. I noticed some factory made 1-pair cords swap the pins at opposite ends. Ive tried both ways and a single line modern phone worked either way (straight thru or swapped). A factory made 25' 2-pair (4 wire) cord was observed to be 1:1 straight through. Some are advertised to be crossed. Cannot find definitive information on which is preferred or specified for analog phone use. (CAT5 Ethernet plugs are wired the same on each end.)

Works with no problem
Needed to make up a power cable for a V1 radar detector. Bought these. More than I needed (but you know how it goes, if I had bought one, I would have screwed it up somehow). Works fine. I am sure I will find a use for more of them over time.

They seem to work I've used 90% of them and I've had 0% failure unlike a lot of the RJ45 they seem to have issues with some of this cheaper Cat5 cable.
