The arm sticks and works well, I use with a go pro session and my iPhone, however the phone attachment wore out after a while. Disclaimer: the seller did provide the option for a replacement mount so I/m giving credit where credit is due. They're fast at responding, but due to the pandemic I might not get the part. If you're just using it with lighter cameras or go pros you should be fine, just be a little gentle with it, for the price I think its worth it compared to the pricier options.

Holds up very well to Autocross & track use. Great budget-friendly, bang-for-your-buck, action cam mount.

We bought 2 of these for our 2 cars. Hubby gives it a 5 because of the suction. It is excellent in that his doesn't budge and for his iPhone 7, with his extra large, strong hands, he's able to get his phone in and out of the brackets relatively easily using both hands. I give it a 3. Threw suction to the windshield is impressive, but it's a daily battle to get my Samsung 9 into the brackets. It just doesn't stretch quite wide enough. One of the side pads came off during yesterday's battle, so now it's a tiny bit wider, but it's still a tremendous struggle to get my phone in such that it stays there. On several occasions, my phone has actually "popped" out which is likely worse than not being handsfree when talking cuz now I have to blindly search the floor to find my phone!

I LOVE how grippy this mount is. It has NEVER come off my windshield unexpectedly. I can angle it anywhere and it holds my phone perfectly at any angle. The suction mechanism goes on and comes off easily. In very hot weather sometimes you have to break the suction with additional pressure from a fingernail to the edge of the suction cup, but it's never been an issue. I like to take the unit off the windshield whenever I am parked in a sunny lot to preserve the integrity of the plastic longer, and since it comes on and off so easily, this is never a problem. I also like that it can fit multiple phone models, although my iPhone 6s+ in a phone case is a bit of a stretch, so I just use a different head when I use my phone. It fits my action camera also. You could easily use it as a vlogging handle if so desired, as the joints stay flexed where you put them. I would definitely purchase again!

I filmed a lot in cars with this and it worked fairly well. At some points if I close the door, no matter what window it was mounted on (even the sunroof) it would droop down just a tad and I'd have to refigure it. Sometimes in the winter, the suction wouldn't work 100% and it'll lose grip just to fall onto the floor from the windshield. I also needed a bit more flexibility than this product offered. Today, about 2-3 months after I got it, the top link cracked and it moves with much less friction than before. It even breaks off with very little resistance, so it may as well be considered useless without the sturdiness and grip I came to rely on at first. If your camera is considerably lightweight, you don't need much flexibility, and you don't have intense winters (for reference, this happened in Pittsburgh) then you might get a lot more use out of it than I did. I'm sure of this because I didn't have the same problems filming with my iPhone 7+.

Wanted a sturdy car mount for Hawaii vacation where we expected to be on bumpy rides from time to time. This thing was sturdy and held up find during our entire trip on three different vehicles. Would leave the mount on the car over night, in blistering heat, direct sunlight exposure, during the cold and rain and didn't budge a bit. Great suction power, and versatile enough to move at different angles as needed during our road trips.

Absolutely terrible!!! The footage is so shaky, it’s unwatchable. I tried to use a stabilizer app to try and make it better, but still way too shaky and can’t watch the footage. Also, it did not stay in place that I set it for, so when I looked at the footage, the position had shifted and only captured 1/2 of what I was trying to. Contacted Amazon, but since it was a month ago that I purchased (I didn’t have a reason to use until few days ago), I can’t return to get a refund. Spend the little extra for better product. This is totally useless.
