Bought for use with OM Systems M.Zuiko 150-600. Makes a big difference to the handling of this heavy lens.

Shame it’s not slightly longer by 1 inch but same length as original fitting on 150-600mm Sigma HSM lens. Much better for attaching to gimbal with arca Swiss fitting. Quality of build us as good as original and very easy to install with hex key and replacement bolts. Balance at 600 mm a little off but as I use battery grip on 5D mkiii helps with the issue.

This product would be great if was 38mm wide (Arca standard), but it's 39mm wide and would not fit into my tripod head clamp. If the manufacturer does produce a 38mm version, I'll be in the queue to buy it..

Arca Swiss plates are 38mm across, as is the foot supplied by Sigma on my lens; some tripod mounts will accept a 39mm plate, but some won't, including my Vanguard ballhead mount. I'm returning this. Shame - it appears to be well made.

The foot seems to be reasonable well made, well packaged and comes with alan keys and bolts. Having said this, it is not properly proportioned and the foot plate is far too short to support and balance the 160-600 mm Sigma Lens and camera for which it is intended. This is particularly obvious if, for example, the lens it attached to a gimbal for wildlife photography. When the lens is fully extended to 600mm, the gimbal has to be tightened so firmly (to stop the lens tiliting forwards) that it makes the purpose for which the gimbal is used (ease of pan and tilt) impossible. I guess it would be ok on a normal Arca Swiss ball-head mount but I couldn't recomment it for anything other than than.

Muy buena calidad, perfectos mecanizados y bien acabado de pintura. Se acopla perfectamente al Sigma 150-600 F5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports que es la versión para cámaras sin espejo. Está especialmente indicado para contrapesar el objetivo sobre un cardan o cabezal de 2 vías. El pie tiene la suficiente longitud como para deslizarlo hasta el punto de equilibrio. El que trae de origen es extremadamente corto y el original de Sigma que es un poco más largo cuesta más de 300€. Por lo tanto, esta es una opción muy recomendable. El pie es un poco más alto que el original, levantando el equipo unos dos centímetros más, cosa que a mí me viene genial para su agarre con guantes. Los tornillos que trae cumplen su función, pero yo he usado los originales que son de más calidad. Estoy muy satisfecho con la compra y recomiendo este producto.

Der Fuß passt genau und fühlt sich sehr wertig an. Man benötigt die mitgelieferten Schrauben. Die originalen Schrauben sin zu lang für den neuen Fuß. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Endlich kann ich das 150-600er in der Hand tragen.

Parfait. Pratique laisse plus de dégagement entre les doigts et l'objectif. Fixation rapide et beaucoup moins cher que le sigma. TOP.

Remplacement de la semelle d'origine par celle-ci avec l'ajout de la possibilité de connction Arca-Swiss ce qui n'était prévu a l'origine. Un seul mot : Parfait
