I have enjoyed this easel. It is easy to pack away and put up. I take it with me everywhere I go, when I leave the house to paint. It is sturdy and is put together well. The little tray, under neath is great for brushes, but I use big paint bottles, so I don't store them there.

So sturdy and stable! Roomy compartments and drawer with a palette cover keep my painting things in place. I can use it as a desk or easel, o e of the things I was excited about as I do collage. I did switch out the strap that came with it for a camera bag strap with a shoulder pad due to the weight of the easel for added comfort.

I've never used an easel before. I bought it for my wife who has never been a painter before. I learned this is a "french" easel...ummm, OK. There are assembly instructions included. (Please see picture for an indication of how thorough and user friendly the assembly instructions are.) So, it took a while staring at it and wrangling it this way and that until I figured it out. It seems like it's perfectly fine for a beginner/occasional user. I'll likely give it a protective coating with polyurethane or similar. As others have said, the magnets that hold the legs in place when the easel is folded up are a great idea, but they're too weak to hold the legs securely. A bungee cord is probably best. I like the fact that the legs are aluminum and are adjustable for uneven ground. I also like the fact that it's very lightweight - seems like it will be easy to pack along on a hike to a favorite spot. It comes with a sturdy handle, and a strap with screws and spacers included. No indication of how/where to install the strap so that, with the right length, it rests properly on your shoulder or across your back. I'd hate to have to guess and punch it full of screw holes. Anyone know about the proper strap placement?

Purchased it for aesthetic purposes when painting at my friend’s wedding! I love The convenience of it with the drawers. I just Wish it was some type of latch that kept the mast in place while it’s folded up.

I'm using it for a mirror that weighs 16 pounds, and it supports it with no problems. Recommended.

I love it. My last large easel was the pricey, good looking one with wheels, and the silly thing rolled around on our brick floors, making it pretty useless. This one is basic but sturdy.

In general love it but one of the feet did come bent so I had to do some superglue to get the rubber foot on as it wasn't worth the hassle to return. But could be protected better to try and reduce those chances. Also the word does have a rough texture not a smooth one if that matters for you.

j'ai acheté ce modèle pour les pieds métalliques, très confortable à installer. j'ai une confiance moyenne dans les aimants qui maintiennent les pieds quand repliés et donc j'entoure le tout d'un sandow pour le trimbaler. J'ai customisé : - remplacé l'espèce de palette par du contreplaqué e 5 mm, moins lourd, et y ai collé 3 mousses pour maintenir les tubes de peinture pendant le transport + 2 petites mousses pour maintenir le vernis et la thérebentine. Comme ça, ça ne brinqueballe pas dans la boite ! - raccourci la tige coulissante, démonté le support en "accordéon" pour le remonter avec 2 entretoises ; (pas simple à faire sans souder) donc en le mettant à l'envers je peux peindre de plus petits formats

I had read lots of reviews for different plain air easels and the most common complaint was it’s sturdiness. This one has aluminium tripod legs so much more sturdy and waterproof as well. It folds easily and I can set up in minutes. Very practical tray to carry paints and comes with a wooden palette. Can’t wait to use it.

Arrived on time. I used it and it has a good stability, good quality and value for money. Love it.
