Helpful for professional finishes
I found this item excellent. Solid and well made. Fitted my Brother sewing machine. First time making a piped cushion, I did a test run with a zipper foot and it was OK but using this foot was so much easier. The groove in the foot follows the cord and guides the stitches. The wide needle opening allows for the needle position to be adjusted for the stages of making and attaching the piping. I think I was using 8mm cord and worked well but I doubt anything larger would flow well along the groove. Well worth the price.

Perfect piping
Piping feet are brilliant! Works perfectly with professional looking results & so quickly. If you can adjust the position of your needle on your machine it can make really tight piping. But works just fine in the centre position. The description didn't give a clear size but I've used 5mm braided and it fits perfect.

Makes cording far easier!
Forget using a zipper foot, this cording foot makes the job 10 times easier. Just feed the bias binding in evenly & you can’t go wrong whereas with a zipper foot I had to make constant adjustments to the angle & speed. If you have any significant length of piping to make, just buy one, the time & faff saving will make it well worth the cost.

Husqvarna VIKING Sapphire 930 piping foot
I purchased a dedicated, manufacturers, piping foot for my Husqvarna VIKING Sapphire 930 machine but the cord grove on it's lower face was way too small for 4mm cord (5mm including the material). So I then purchased this foot hoping it fits the machine, which it does, and it does an excellent job piping. See attached pictures.

Good piping foot
This fitted my Brother innovis v5 and worked brilliant for my first experience of piping around a seat cushion cover. Very pleased with the outcome. Recommend.

Works perfectly for double piping. Only for smaller diameter cords though - like 5mm. My fabric was a bit thicker so that might have been the reason. Lovely product though, very happy👍🏻

Works well, fits perfectly on my machine. You can make the loop tighter or looser by moving the needle a little bit to the side; the cord remains captured by the groove.
