One post is included in the package. If your fence project will include a gate, you don’t need to buy additional post as our gate kit includes two posts. Otherwise, you can buy additional post, either our 5’ post for concrete or 6.5’ post for soil on Amazon to complete your fence project.

can I cut/adjust the height of this gate?

This is steel. Do you have the equipment to cut steel? Even if you did, I don't think it would be advisable. Maybe find a smaller gate instead.
