Thinkbook 13s,W10p,I5,8gb,256gb,1yr

I recently broke my asus vivobook 11 inch notebook about 2 weeks ago and needed a fast solution for a laptop for my schoolwork! Picked this laptop up and here are my thoughts........(1) The fan wasn't so loud for me when not plugged in to the charger, you can hear it slightly but not obnoxiously like my old computer used to do. Although when plugged in be aware the device will get hot and the fan starts to get loud. For me this is to be expected as my previous laptop did this as well so if you can let your laptop charge without the need to use it I highly recommend it so you can give the laptop a break at least. If not, have it in raised or have enough space for it to breath and vent out.(2) Battery is really good! it usually last me 6 hours when having it in better performance and better battery settings on the laptop. To me this is an improvement from my old laptop as it only hold an hour of charge a huge nightmare for school. You can go longer if your just on better battery and battery saver huge help when needing it for longer usage time.(3) Speakers are good but are on the bottom of the laptop, quite a bummer but they do sound good when lifted up or placed on a flat surface. (4) This is where I give it a 4 star because a previous reviewer mentioned that this is not a windows 10 pro computer, and I agree on this matter as I as well saw this is windows 10 home. Performance does really well as I had multiple tabs open, and it ran photoshop cs6 so really good. Upon reading other reviews I hope they only had gotten a bad prototype of the product, as for me my model is really the best laptop I've had in years. So just be cautious and maybe buy this laptop from another seller if your worried from getting a bad model yourself like the other reviewers. Overall when getting a good model like the one I did, I highly recommend this laptop. It's got a fingerprint scanner, removable back, backlit keyboard, and a privacy notch for the webcam! so I don't see anything wrong with this laptop.UPDATE: It is now January 2021, and the fan or hard drive began to give a strange noise at random times. And battery is now garbage only lasts about 1 hour or 1.5 and the performance continues to act the same. So It was a good run for about 8 months but could of been better. In conclusion, I would recommend to to look elsewhere.

Finally, I have found a laptop with a battery that lasts all day. I charged it to 100% and after 9 hours it still has 40% charge left. The screen is matte so there is no reflection bouncing back at me from overhead lights, not to mention that it is also very bright and the colors are magnificent. The sound is probably the best that I have ever heard in a laptop this size. The case is made of aluminum so it feels and looks very sturdy. There is absolutely no play in the top when I open and close it. It also has 6mb of cashe to go with the 8gb of RAM which makes it very fast. It is light enough so that I can carry it around all day without any problem. All in all I have no complaints about this computer. If I have any problems with it in the future I will revise my review, but as it stands right now I have only pro's and no con's regarding this computer.

Although the laptop I purchased this transaction is fine, the Lenovo warranty service I have received for another Lenovo laptop I purchased last year has been virtually non-existent. Lenovo is a Philippines based company that sells in the USA as well as worldwide. Once they begrudgingly went through very time consuming steps to attempt repair of the laptop, 2 months worth, they turned it over to the "imaginary" warranty department. Since the warranty department does not have phones evidently, they do not have a phone number to give out and they cannot transfer to warranty nor provide an email address , they send a message and a manager will be in contact by phone or email within two days. I have gotten this excuse for over a month now, that has allowed the warranty to expire. This has gone on for three plus months and I still have not gotten any call back. I called for updates every day for the last 3 months, and always get the same "mantra" about a manager being notified to call. You can definitely invest in a Lenovo product, but just be aware there is no warranty support, so purchase with the understanding the product is "disposable only" if it fails.

This is an excellent, small, light weight (but solid) laptop. It’s incredibly fast and handles everything I need to do. Admittedly I don’t do heavy photo editing or gaming so I can’t comment how it would perform if you were doing either of those. However, if you need it for Office applications, browsing internet, shopping, watching/streaming videos, this is an outstanding choice. Also, I’m not sure why others of complained of noisy fan, mine is whisper quite.

Haven't had this laptop for more than a few hours but already I just love the way it quickly goes from one page to another. It's a thin laptop/notebook, and if you love Great things in small packages this would be it.I haven't had time to see if the battery really does last for 11 hours as the specs note, but if so, that's a real plus too.

So it took about 2 weeks to deliver but other than that it’s great and has a antivirus program

The compact size and lightness of the Think Pad is real advantage. Also, it's very user friendly and perfect for all my needs, which are mostly personal use, for email. photo collection, online shopping. My son previously used this computer as a school vice principal and highly recommended it to me. Thank you for an excellent product.

It is great high performance laptop but I had an issue with frequent spontaneous reboot right from the start. All device drivers were up to date. The seller took the bad product back - no questions. This rating is for the product, not the seller.Also the speakers, though from Hartman, do not sound that hifi. The speakers are on the bottom of the laptop and muffles the sound quite a bit furthermore.
