Just got an early season "buzz cu"t for our 90 plus pound Golden Retriever. This jacket fits perfectly (large) with room for his coat to grow back in, if necessary. It is ridiculously simple to apply as it has two large/wide velcro closures, one across his upper chest and shoulders and the other around his lower chest. It takes 10 seconds to apply and remove. The duck cloth is waterproof and it looks like a Carhart work jacket. The neighbors have enjoyed commenting on it. Finally, it keeps Harley warm in the lowest temperatures we experience, which are in the very low 40's. His back and sides stay warm to the touch after our daily walks. I am completely satisfied with this jacket. Don't let the price deter you from buying this jacket. It works and it is Carhart rugged.

Bought a size large and it’s perfect. Not too tight, not too large. The adjustable neck strap is awesome, we were afraid it wouldn’t fit him, as he is a thick necked, wide shouldered pup, but absolutely no issues. Very nice durable material, not too heavy, but will definitely help him retain heat in the brutal Midwest winters. We moved from Florida to Iowa this past January and quickly learned our dog hated any type of clothing! Funny enough, he didn’t even try to nip the coat when we first pulled it out, wish it was that easy back in January when he destroyed 3 puppy hoodies within minutes! Oh well, at least we have this awesome and stylish carhartt now! Bonus points - he gets to match with me on most days!

We have had this coat for my dog since Oct 2023. We live in SW Florida, so our cold is different than northern areas. This coat is lightweight, durable, easy to put on our bully. It clears all the important parts so he doesn’t accidentally wee on it. It’s the perfect length from his neck to tail. The duck cloth helps repel rain, which happens often. It’s been through 2 Florida winters and our guy loves putting it on before he goes out. I cannot recommend this coat enough for your dog.

I bought this for my black lab to wear when it’s raining or cold. It’s easy to put on and fasten (if you can get her to stop wagging her tail!) and fits perfectly. Carhartt is always great quality and this is no exception. It’s made with the same tough fabric as the jackets for people that last forever. She is so excited when she sees me pick it up and she has had the opposite reaction with other jackets. It doesn’t hinder her at all when she is chasing her ball. It’s very much worth every penny as it will probably be the only jacket you will need to purchase.

I love this jacket for my 75lbs Golden Retriever. The jacket is very stylish, but a tad short. His butt is exposed to the elements but everywhere else is a great fit. It keeps him warm when we go on walks in the morning and on hiking trails. I like that it has 2 pockets so that he can hold his own snacks and poop bag. The material is stiff-like so my wife doesn't allow him to sleep in it as she thinks its uncomfortable. It has good water resistance feature for my dog when he goes potty in the backyard. A big pricey but high quality jacket that will last for years to come.

Perhaps the best “wet winter” coat for dogs ever. My dog is a staffordshire terrier mix, but tall and lean like a boxer, thus hard to fit. I measured my dog and he was within the medium size range. This is the medium, with plenty of room for a bigger dog but covers him pretty well. My only complaint is that I wish the tummy strap was wider and covered more of his belly, also would help hold the bottom of the jacket closed. As it is, when he bends over the jacket has a considerable open “flair” that lets heat escape. You can see in the photo. Also wish it had a buttonhole opening near the collar for a leash to feed through. However, the jacket is rugged and well made just like you would expect from any Carhartt jacket, and when I put my hand under the jacket my dog is toasty warm! Love the ruggedness and waterproof features - will be great for camping and hiking in wet Texas winters! My dog loves the jacket, but he loves wearing doggy clothes in general, such a dapper fellow! Would recommend for any athletic pup needing a little extra layer.

The velcro is strong on its second winter of use. The coat fits nicely, keeps my dog warm. Looks quite cute as it matches my husband's work Carhartt.

My pit mix rescue has a very short coat and he’s kind of a wuss so he gets cold easily. This jacket is so perfect for him and keeps him nice and comfortable. He’s worn it in the rain and the jacket gets wet but it keeps him dry. The pockets are nice too if you want your dog to carry something by for you. Mine holds his own poop bags for walks. My only issue is that it’s a little too big on him. He’s 50lbs and we got him the large and the chest area is a little big on him but the length is perfect. The medium probably would have been too small.

Manteau chic et solide. De bons scratches. J’avais la même de chez barbour deux fois plus cher et qui ne va pas en machine. Pour ma chienne de 22k M c’est pile poile là bonne Taille. Pour un labrador il faudrait au moins un L je pense.

Love this!! The large fits my 70lbs Labrador retriever pretty good, it’s a bit large but the Velcro's make it fit. We get lots of compliments during our walks and also durable for play time. Would recommend for the quality!!

Easy fitting, looks stylish and amazing.

I purchased this coat for my 6 month old pup. I know he will grow out of it but he has short fur and I just want him to be warm while out on our winter walks. Having purchased a Carhartt coat for myself in the past, the quality of this coat was never in doubt. I absolutely love how he looks in it, he looks so comfy and unhindered by it. It’s very well made and It will withstand scrapes from the hedges and undergrowth while he’s exploring. It’s extremely easy to put on and remove. The pockets add to the aesthetic (I’ll maybe put an AirTag in the buttoned one) along with the corduroy collar which takes it to another level, it does attract hairs though so I brush it afterwards to remove the white hairs. Having felt underneath the coat after walking I can vouch that it’s keeping him warmer. If this was going to be his long term winter coat and not his puppy one, I’ve no doubt he would get a lifetime of wear out of it. I went with the chest measurement and the back length when I picked the size (M) for him. The sizing suggested his neck was on the smaller side according to the measurements chart so I’m glad I went with the chest measurement, because I think it’s a perfect fit, you can judge for yourself in the photo. The Velcro straps are excellent quality too and don’t come loose. I’m 100% happy with the materials the stitching the overall design, the colour and the collar adds a touch of class. I highly recommend this dog coat. It’s not waterproof but it copes with light showers well. Can’t recommend it enough. You will get compliments on it.
