Would this work to temporarily patch a vinyl chair?

It work about as well as duct tape.

Would it stick to pvc pipe and would the adhesive hold up to rain and weather temperature changes?

I’m not sure about the pvc pipe (I’m sure it would but haven’t tried it) it does somewhat hold up to the rain and temperatures. I used to mark pickle ball courts, I would leave slack in the tape when laying it down which helped with the temperatures. The rain, if hard enough, would sometimes lift the tape

Will this stick to fabric (cotton blend)? I need a vinyl tape to make props for a baton group.

I believe that it should stick very well as long as you are not looking for a long time stick. It stays on the floor for a very long time even after being played over. We used it for marking out pickleball courts on a gym floor and it adheres very well to the floor.

Would this work on a turf field? Looking to mark soccer field boxes

No. As stated in the description it is tape. A vinyl strip available in a variety of sizes and colors One side is very sticky. Like tape is.

great for classroom use!

I use this tape on the floor in my classroom to mark where student desks should be. It is really sticky but stays down on the ground. I had no problem peeling it up at the end of the year. I love the purple color!

Could be stickier

Bought this to mark wiring routes that go under a plywood catwalk in attic crawlspace.Worked good at first, easy to write on with permanent marker, but began to lift and peel up after a few weeks.Probably suited more for smooth surfaces like linoleum.
