Journey Girls 18" Doll, Kyla, Kids Toys for Ages 6 Up by Just Play

I was excited to add this Journey Girls doll to my collection. I already own dolls from the Our Generation and Adora brands, and I can confidently say that this doll is comparable to both of those brands. In terms of measurements, the Journey Girls doll is similar to the Our Generation dolls and slightly smaller than the Adora dolls. However, her head is larger than the other brands. Her eyes cannot close and are always open. Her head can slightly turn from side to side, and her arms and legs can move up and down which allows for some posing. She stands well on her own without a doll stand. The body of the doll is half hard plastic and half cloth. When I first received the doll, she came with her hair in pigtails, and I was relieved to see that the curls looked nice and full after taking them down. Her outfit is also cute and comes with a long sleeve tee, jeans, boots and a red handbag. But what stood out to me the most was her toffee-colored skin which is unique and adds character to the doll. Overall, she is a cute doll and a great addition to my collection.

My daughter loves this doll. It is a good size at 18 inches and can stand on its own. She loves brushing out Kyla's hair and I was pleased that the hair does not tear off while brushing. The doll is well made and we love the stylish outfit. The facial expression of the doll is lovely. The boots are removable so if you purchase the others in the collection you can swap the shoes and clothes too. The doll is perfect for imaginary play. The doll is good value for money and we think that it would make a great gift for Christmas, birthdays or any other celebration. We would definitely recommend this doll.

I ordered this as a generic doll to use to make clothing patterns, it was the least expensive listed, and was blown away at how lovely it is. The face is beautifully done, especially the eyes. Lovely facial expression, lots of hair. The body is solid and like an expensive doll, really surprised, I thought I'd end up with a cheap plastic hollow body for the price. HIGHLY recommend, I am not a doll person but was very impressed, I would expect this to be $100.

Great doll, great price a nice addition to add to your collection. Don’t understand why some reviewers do not like the quality of the hair though......it great! Her skin tone is almost like a honey color, she has the most beautiful hazel eyes (one of the main reasons I purchased her, as I have hazel eyes) and her hair is oh so soft and manageable. Out of all my dolls, she is my absolute favorite, and I made sure to purchase wig brushes to keep the doll’s hair at its optimal best. With the holidays coming up, I plan to purchase more of these to give as gifts. Love this doll line!

My daughter loves this doll, she is Hispanic and i love that this doll is close to her skin tone and hair style! She loves that the doll looks just like her! Great price. We ended up buying a new one after 2 years because the leg broke, it was from rough play though, the product is just like any other American girl type doll.

Great alternative to pricier 18 inch dolls. My 5.5 year old loves her. Great quality, beautiful hair, adorable outfit. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because her eyes don't close when she is flat and that really bugs my daughter.

The doll brought a big smile to nieces’ face she went to japan and i had to get her this color wave im very satisfied that they had this as an option. Also the doll is high quality material it glistens and is made of hard and soft plastic through out. She has movable arms and legs also she had a name that when you open it it says her name and previous her face and then you can open it to see the whole doll. Overall great buy and i am very satisfied with this purchase. 👍🏼

I bought the Kyla doll for my 4 yr old granddaughter who absolutely loves this doll! Very well made and the clothes are so cute. I purchased beach wear seperately, also very well made. I'm so glad I bought this compared to others like this. Great purchase! My graddaughter and I are happy!
