Engine Oil, Fluids, Gasoline, Liquids, Kerosene Economy Funnel with Flexible Spout Extension - Red (Black)

I took a trip across five states to deliver a boat to my son. I took along a five gallon emergency gas can just in case. After I got to my destination, I was going to put the gas in my truck, as I hadn't needed it on the way there. The gas can was one of those red plastic jobs with a spout that had a spout with a lock. You have to press on a part of the spout to open it and let the gas flow through to empty the gas can. The spout was broke. I brought the can home, stored it in the garage, ordered this funnel, it arrived, I unscrewed the spout from the gas can and with help from my daughter was able to get the gas into my truck. The funnel came in one piece, unbroken, and did its job. It appears it should work quite nicely if I should again need a funnel.

I'm sure saying that a funnel is awesome sounds to be a bit excessive, but I've got a few funnels that have just not done the trick. As gasoline flooded over the top of the filling area of my lawn mowers, I'd shake my head once again and think, there HAS to be something better out there than trying to hold a 5 gal. can of gasoline and try pouring it into a small-mouthed funnel, or even pouring the gasoline into a two cup glass measuring cup. Neither of those solutions were a solution, so back to the drawing board until I came across this little gem. Oh yeah... perfect for what I need. Majic Engine Funnel to the rescue for my inept filling techniques. I really love the extension which screws off if you don't need the funnel quite so long and even noticed there is a screen inside the mouth of the funnel to catch those whatevers that lurk in the gas cans waiting to plug up the fuel filters. Won't be having that happen again - so well done, Majic Engine Oil funnel. Your product was so reasonably priced and is perfect for what I need. It's wide enough to pick up those drips and dribbles that sneak out so everything ends where it should. I would definitely purchase this item again if something happens to it as it's going to get a lot of use with all the grass mowing coming up this summer or snow blowing in the winter. It's an all-weather product.

I was a little skeptical when I purchased this because there were no reviews. However, I am glad I purchased it; this is a very handy funnel to have. Whenever I add gas to small power equipment, I like to filter it to remove large pieces of debris. This ensures the small openings in the carburetors do not get plugged. The funnel is made of decent quality plastic and the screen in the bottom of the funnel is fairly fine so it will filter out any size grass clippings, small rust particles, and other debris. I simply tap the funnel upside down or flush water through the funnel backwards to clear the screen. The funnel can be used with the flexible extension tube or without it. The extension tube is very flexible and will reach just about any opening that you would need to pour something in. However, the extension tube is not strong enough to hold the funnel in an upright position so you will need to use one hand to hold the funnel. Without the extension tube, the funnel still comes to a nice point that you can use in most applications. No real complaints about this funnel.

I use this funnel for my HVAC unit, of all things. It does the job very nicely. It’s just a cheap plastic funnel, but it works. I like that there is a screen inside to keep something from falling inside. I’ve even poured boiling water into it, and it works, but I wouldn’t recommend using it for boiling water, unless like me, you only need to pour a couple of cups through.

Very thin but worth the $7. If you need something for regular use look elsewhere. Mine came ripped at the top but it basically works. I use mine 2-3 times a year so its fine

It's a decent funnel -- that is, it pretty much does the job it's supposed to do without too much fanfare. It's a little larger than I expected and is hard to fit into tight spaces. The material is plastic, and the extension was a little stiff from being curled into the funnel, but didn't break when straightened. I needed it to put power steering fluid into the reservoir which, in my vehicle, is tucked under the alternator. That being said, it did the job beautifully, and I was able to snake the hose in and fill.

The actual top opening is only 3 3/8" and the plastic is thin as paper. Very disappointed.

Great for putting gas in the car. I didn't time it, but I could pretty much fill up the car almost as fast as I could pour it out of my 5 gallon gas can. Much, much faster than filling the car up through the nozzle on the gas can. Even faster than the No-Spill 1450 5-Gallon Poly Gas Can which is a pretty nice gas can. At first, I thought is was going to be too flimsy for 1 person to put gas in the car. I put the funnel in the car, slightly closed the gas door on the car and then had both hands to control the 5 gallon gas can. No problems what so ever in terms of being worried about the funnel tipping out of the gas tube. Timed filling up the car from a 5 gallon gas can. 3 minutes and 15 seconds Ordering 2 more for my other cars.
