A little goes a LONG way with this baby, and it is very full coverage. I bought the larger container because I thought I would burn through it, but after two uses I have barely even scrapped the top. And yes, this makeup feels heavy and gross, so if you can't commit to the costume-- don't do it. I will say, application with a blending brush is so much better than using a beauty sponge (mine disintegrated into the makeup tub and I had to scrape it off). And yes, if you want to wear this, you need to PACK ON THAT POWDER. Otherwise it transfers like crazy. The first wear, I wore it to a Halloween party and every single person I hugged had white on their costumes (sorry). So the second wear (on Halloween at work), I applied enough powder for it not to transfer, and it held it in place nicely. Not only does this makeup transfer without properly setting it with translucent powder, but it also creases so bad. Pls pls pls if you get this, get some powder to set it with, or else you will regret it. 1st 3 pics: from beginning of the day next 3: at the end of the shift (why so serious? yeah I know)

This clown makeup works very well. Stays put and does not smudge. If you want it to last long, just use white face powder over it or translucent powder on it and it will stay on all night. 😉 Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend. Will buy again. Made my makeup look extra creepy. Got tons of compliments and gave a lot of people clown phobia. LOL 😂

This is the dent made from just two uses… I do full face no ears or neck, but full coverage. I personally might need a bigger container. It works well although even when set with powder needs retouched after a while. As the oils seep through, and it melts a bit. Removing it, you might as well use a potato peeler. You live like that now.

I bought this product for a Halloween costume. My husband was IT the clown and I was really a fan of the product. Last year, he was the joker and I purchased a similar product and didn’t have the same experience, it was chalky and not buildable. It also came out in chunks. This product on the other hand was very smooth and we were able to apply and spread easily but it wasn’t too thin like some others I’ve seen. Some of the whites can be watery, but not this product. We ended up doing two layers and that’s the beauty of the product, because it’s definitely buildable. I applied with a makeup sponge (you know the white multi pack you can buy at Walmart) I thought it was very good coverage and it lasted all night long! We stayed at the Halloween party for 4 hours and he still looked great by the end of it. Getting it off was not terrible…. Then again, I did send him in there myself and he was probably using hand soap 😂 but when he came out, it was mostly gone, aside from the spots he didn’t see. I will definitely purchase again in the future if needed! Btw, this is not a promotional review or paid review! Just my honest opinion on a product I loved!

I’ve never used any kind of special effects/art makeup, so this was my first experience with it. My friends and I were in a production of the Addams Family as Ancestors and had fo paint our hands and face almost 20 times. The product is a little tricky to work with. I originally tried using a brush to apply it, but it skips and is extremely hard to smooth out completely. However, a wet beauty sponge worked absolute wonders! It helped the product really marry into the skin and applied it wonderfully. It was fully opaque with very little product, and had no streaks. The product is a very thick, almost waxy consistency and is very heavy on the skin, it needs generous amounts of powder in order to set matte. While the consistency may not have been the best for application, it was amazing for staying power. Our characters were dancing for almost the entire two-hour show, and even my excessive sweating did not cut through the make up. Other forms of make up applied pretty well on top of the powdered white . I was able to use eyeshadow in order to contour my face, and was even able to do normal eyeshadow on my eyes. If applying to the hands like we did, I definitely recommend using baby powder to set it, as it can work a little bit sheer and ashy on the hands. The product does also have a slight fragrance, I can’t really explain it other than make up smell, but it is not that strong and dissipates on the face. Once powdered down, the product is a little bit hard to remove. I would recommend using some form of cream or balm in order to remove it, not just make up wipes. I have pretty sensitive skin, and even with Ponds cold cream, my skin was a little bit irritated after removal. No rash or anything, but I was just a little bit red from the rubbing. Overall I think this is definitely a great product for stage make up and performers, there’s just a little bit of a curve to it.

Very pigmented and took a LOT of makeup wipes to get off. But I'd highly recommend for costume.

We've painted our faces, in the past, for various parties, holidays, and running events, but usually used the cheap face paint from the party store. Those paints often ran with sweat and caused breakouts on my girlfriend's sensitive skin (her skin is quite fair, and mine is quite oily, so we're a bit of a challenge when ti comes to face makeup.) We chose this paint because it seemed to have good reviews overall and the ingredients indicated it was lead free (Petrolatum, Mineral Oil, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Beeswax, Ozokerite, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Lanolin, Titanium Dioxide (main white color), Talc.) It wasn't the cheapest, but it seemed to be used by a lot of professionals and that was good enough for us. This paint goes on light and even- for anyone who hasn't done a full face paint, especially with white, before- be patient, layer it on, it will blend beautifully. You will want to pick up a finishing powder here on Amazon to dust your final application with to help prevent bleeds and sweat throughs, especially if you plan on putting colors over it. It will feel tacky upon first application but dries quite smooth in about 20 minutes. For those worried about the 2 oz, it goes very far- we have done 5 full face applications (and most covered the neck and chest) and it is still about half full. We've worn the makeup for up to 7 hours on end with no allergic or sensitive skin issues and couldn't be more thrilled, we will be buying more for our upcoming 5ks this fall! ****Best tip use Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes, one wipe removes half a face of full makeup and is very gentle on skin!

Covers good and has good size and pigment but it doesn't dry, and you have to buy their powder and makeup remover to use it fully which can cost more than expected all together, not worth it

I've used this clown cream numerous times now for my Joker makeup/costume. I find it very easy to apply and it holds very well. I wear it on nights out for 6-8 hours and it doesn't come off with sweat. Really easy to take off too. You get so much for your money's worth as you only need to use a very small amount to get good coverage over your entire face/ears/neck. Overall just very impressed. Thanks for reading.
