LunchBlox

We purchased our first set of these at a store, then ordered an additional set through Amazon. These are excellent containers for lunches for three main reasons: 1) Very durable; every night we put them in the dishwasher (top shelf, we put the small lids in with the silverware) and after over a year of use and daily dishwasher cleaning they are just like new. The lids stay snapped on, none of the containers have cracked or bent. The ice pack is durable and gets, and stays, *very* cold. 2) Excellent design and size meaning the way these fit into lunch boxes and hold food. The photo shows the containers and ice pack stacked -works great in a square lunchbox. A couple of the kids have "tall" type lunch boxes and these containers fit very well inside those lunch boxes as well. The square sandwich box fits a basic sandwich, anything bigger like a sub probably won't fit as well. That size is also good for a small salad, pasta, etc. The smaller sizes are great for salad dressing, ketchup, nuts, etc. Because the lids snap on tight we have never had an issue with leaking. They also are a good size for a hard boiled egg. 3) These make it easy to pack a healthy lunch. They also make it easy to pack a lunch the night before and have it ready to go in the morning.

Good product, long lasting

I started off with one set for my daughter when she started school four years ago. Bought a second set when my son started school two years later. Bought a third when two of the tiny lids cracked after a couple years of near-daily (during school year) use, and just bought a fourth set when one kid lost one of the containers and I figured “Hey, we can always use extras!” Four years, and these are still my absolute favorite lunch containers for my kids!The three different portion sizes are perfect for sandwich/entree, snacky sides, cut fresh fruit, etc., and I love that in separate containers, there’s no chance of leakage or things “touching” each other. The only leakage issue we’ve had is occasionally my kids struggle to close the container all the way themselves, and leftover fruit juices leak a little, but my kids are young and getting better at closing them. They have survived well in the dishwasher (a *must* in our house, since we use them daily). I like that they can stack and “click” into the ice pack (both top and bottom), but also that the different sizes can be reconfigured for different size lunchboxes as needed. Highly recommend these, especially for school-age kids’ lunches!

These are cute little containers from a trusted manufacturer.What you get are 4 containers of various sizes and a cute little blue cold pack. To me one of the best things about this set is the cold pack. I like the way that it has indentations that make it work with the little containers to keep them together.-- The containers are a clear plastic. It's not hard; you can move the sides a little bit if you squeeze. The green tops fit the containers well.-- The two smaller containers hold 1/2 cup if you fill it to the top. If you want room at the top cut that back to 1/3 cup. I sent my daughter to school with oreo cookies and the small container fit 3 cookies.-- The large container fits regular sized bread. My daughter made a sandwich on a Kaiser roll and it was slightly squished height-wise. This isn't a problem with sandwiches made with wheat or white 'normal' bread.-- The medium sized container holds 1 cup.WHAT I THINK is that this is a really nice set to have for a lunch box/bag. At first I thought the 2 little containers were too small but really, how much potato salad does one REALLY need. 1/3-1/2 cup is probably enough calorie wise.Other than that these are well made Rubbermaid products.

This is REALLY a delightful combination. Didn't know I would get so excited over storage units. I love the way everything snaps together AND the added blue freezer pack makes it a perfect package. I needed freezer-, microwave-, dishwasher-safe. Also the units nest well for storing. The lids are quite easy to snap on and off. I was looking for a specific size when I ran across this package on Amazon so I decided to give it a try. Very glad I did! You might want to know that the entire unit is pretty small. The base unit will easily hold 1/2 sandwich but I doubt you could cram an entire sandwich in it unless you cut off all the crusts and the sandwich wasn't huge to start with. These are great portions if you are limiting sizes or if this is for a child's lunchbox. I love the fact that the measurements are displayed on the containers.

I'm a 23 year old male who loves to meal prep. I love the rubbermaid lunchbox sandwich kit - it is great for all ages, and packs a decent amount of snacks / fruit / main course for on the go purposes. It's light and compact and fits well in my lunch bag.A definite plus is the fact that it comes with a "blue ice" ice pack! It keeps the containers at a cooler temperature to prevent overheating a spoiling. Just throw it into the freezer before use, and repeat once the day is done.I would highly recommend this product for mainly kids, as some adults might not find enough room to store larger meals. However, I would have to say that this makes a great way to meal prep! The containers are solid BPA free containers that are easy to wash and reuse. Overall, I would highly recommend this product!
