Amazing! What a difference it makes in skin texture. I dry brush before the shower and then use Dr Teals salt scrub in the shower and lotion after. Noticeably softer skin! The handle is nice to reach my back and back of legs. I have sensitive skin and there have been zero problems. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Never heard of the body brush until I had a spa treatment body wrap done. My technician used this exact brand of brush on my body before spreading the body mask. She told me lots of good things about the dry brushing that I looked it up on the internet. I was sold! I have been using the brush every morning before shower for a month now and have noticed my skin is much more tone and my cellulite on my thights has gone down. I have also noticed my body feels internally cleansed. I dont' feel as bloated with all the toxins. Dry Brushing helps move the lymphatic system. Lots of benefits and good investment.

Absolutely the best dry body brush on the market, in my opinion. For those reviewers that complained of mildew etc. Please note that these are natural bristles, never designed to touch the water. This is a brush for pre-shower detox. If you are an experienced dry body brusher and want to take it to the next level, this is the brush for you!! My whole family uses them and I can't rave enough about the skin benefits, plus it's way less expensive than the $55 I paid for my first one of these at my local spa. I purchased the WHOLE body detox skin brush ... not just the head! The handle is missing. Why is the handle missing? Plus, the piece of cardboard that is wrapped around the brush was torn - as if someone had used it and then chose to return it. That is disgusting. ELEMIS, even IF the item was not previously used, you can't take 5 minutes to wrap a fresh new piece of cardboard around the brush to present it as new and unused? For a sale price of $46.00, of course you can. This is being returned. ELEMIS Skincare, surely you can do better than this! Right?! The hand-held brush part seems fine, but I did not bother to try it on for size. The cactus bristles are the reason I purchased THIS brush and not another one. I ran my finger across the bristles and they feel just fine. They didn't feel too stiff or pokey. I'm sure that a brand new whole brush and handle would work amazingly. As a suggestion, you might want to consider curving the wood of the hand-held brush so that is fits more comfortably and ergonomically in one's hand. And maybe use bamboo instead of wood.

The quality of this brush is superb, however the bristles are very stiff and it hurts me a little when I use it on my body. I was hoping it was a softer bristle. It still works very well and with time my body is getting used to it.

I especially like using it on my back. I like bathing instead of showering. So I will use this before taking a bath. It feels good on my skin. It was a good purchase.

I saw these in a recent magazine saying that Miranda Kerr recommends using this to get rid of some obvious cellulite when going to the beach as a temporary fix. Trust me this works like a charm! If you want to temporarily get rid of some of your cellulite this brush will help to diminish the hated dimples in your thighs and butt. Just gently brush from the back of the knee to the top of your bum for about two minutes on both sides to disguise any signs of hideous cellulite and if possible go and use a caffeine infused body scrub in the shower to continue to help circulation after the brushing to get even greater results.

My naturopath recommended to do a dry body massage with a natural body brush to increase blood and lymph circulation. All natural brushes I found in stores are way too soft and loose bristles within a month of use and gets even softer with each use. Not expensive (~ $20) but I end up buying new each month. Did some search on-line and elemis brush came up. It was the most expensive on the market ($60), but the reviews were great, so I got it. Use it now for 6 months. First couple weeks the massage was quite painful, as the brush, made of cactus fibber, is extremely firm. Then the skin got use to it and now the dry brush massage is the part of my regular morning routine . The brush doesn’t lose any bristle and stays as firm as it was on day one. After regular use my skin became very smooth and silky, even some spider veins start disappearing. Very high quality product. Highly recommend.

This Elemis dry brush is perfect! The bristles are just stiff enough to do the job, and the handle is long and made of beautiful wood. It’s made well and does the trick! I will not get it wet, in hopes that the life of the brush will be longer. Great product, beautifully made.
