Unique Flavor
First sampled this at the CoffeeFest in LA a few months ago and was blown away how good it tasted. Been mixing it into my cold foam on top of iced coffee and in my cappuccino foam. No artificial or chemical taste and not overpoweringly sweet. Love it!

Try this next time you're frustrated with undissolved crystals in your ice tea
This product was pleasantly surprising. Have used lavendar and other essential oil products. I wouldn't have imagined the soothing fragrance of lavendar applied to a beverage until one of those Amazon carousel product listings introduced an Earl Grey Lavendar syrup from the Boozy Botanicals beverage catalog. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H5RYLJF I don't know whether that product availability will reoccur, but this other product is Amazon available for now, and when I use Earl Grey tea bags for the iced tea, this is easily solvent with cold tea and the flower fragrance is so mild as to not clash with most of the iced tea blending I attempt with herbal teas. Treat yourself, and leave behind those sugar crystals at the bottom of the glass.

The perfect addition to an oat milk latte
A friend got us started on lavender oat milk lattes. We tried several different products from different vendors and thought we'd try this one as it was so well-reviewed and was also reasonably priced. While it is rather sweet, we add approx. 3 tbsp to about 6oz of Oatley milk and the resulting latte is just delicious. I've mixed it into plain yogurt and put some in a smoothie and, as long as you don't overdo the quantity you put in, you won't find a better product for the money.

Great taste
I love this syrup. It tastes very fresh and doesn’t leave an aftertaste like others I have tried. The only downside is the artificial coloring.

Bacterial growth before the expiration date! Check your bottles!
2026 update I contacted the seller and they refused to refund the product. I actively recommend against this product and its seller. Other companies offer complete refunds or replacement of the product with even a 3-star review of their product. I bought this Lavender syrup on 06/28/25. The expiration date is 08/2026. I stopped using the syrup around September 2025, because I wanted to switch to fall flavors. I resumed using the lavender syrup in March 2026. I did notice the growths on the side of the bottle…but I hypothesized that the bacteria growing was an aerophile and it wouldn’t survive at the bottom of the bottle where the straw sucks up the syrup and where there is no oxygen. I’ve been doing this for about a month mostly every day. Then finally, I got diarrhea. I decided to pull out the bottle from where I keep it and used a flashlight and sure enough, there are growths within the fluid. My conclusion is…it is not a strict aerobe. Could I have found the bacteria sooner? Yes. But I was too lazy to check it carefully and as long as I wasn’t getting sick it was fine. And I have been using the syrup a lot, so there probably wasn’t that much growth at the bottom. I’m not sure why the label says it’s good until 08/2026 though. I think I will not purchase from this brand in the future. I also bought their violet syrup which came in a glass bottle, which does contain violet extract and it currently does not have any growths in the fluid... 2025 original review I had a lavender latte at a Fairmont hotel and this is the syrup they used. I thought it was pretty good, so I decided to try this out to see how it compares to other lavender syrups I've tried. I know it's a toxic purple color, but I was hoping the taste would offset my paranoia about Red40. Unfortunately the ingredients are as follows: cane sugar, water, flavouring, colourings: allura Red AC, E133. Allura Red AC may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children. Lavender isn't even a listed ingredient - it's probably just artificial flavoring made from chemicals. I also bought the violet version which came in a glass bottle. The lavender syrup is in a plastic bottle. My other current lavender syrup is by Portland Syrups. The ingredients for that is: Filtered Water, Organic Can Sugar, Organic Whole Lavender, Butterfly Pea Flower, Organic Lavender Flavor Extract (Organic Cane Alcohol, Organic Flavors), Citric Acid. If I taste the syrup straight, the Portland Syrup version definitely tastes like real lavender. The 1883 version tastes artificial. If I add the syrup to coffee, the 1883 version is OK and the Portland Syrups tastes a little too bitter/soapy. It might just be the coffee I'm using (dark roast currently). I'll use the 1883 syrup I guess for the next year, but then I'll probably go back to using syrups that use real lavender. But props to the 1883 for transparency.
