Nice, but pricey
These are perfect for my one year old to hold by himself when learning to use utensils. I'm giving four stars b/c it's a good idea and product, but they're so expensive that we can't really use them for what we bought them for b/c we aren't willing to spend $50 (5 sets i.e. 1.5 days worth of utensils) on plastic utensils. We have a number of metal spoons with silicone but they're a bit long for his hands so we bought these to try to get him to feed himself. The results are mixed. For starters, these are so expensive that I only bought one set which means we only use them once a day so there's not enough repetition to really teach him properly. Not the product's fault, but I feel like if they were that much better than the less expensive metal and silicone spoons, I would have coughed up the money to buy more.

Love the teal
These are amazing so far. My only problem is the price gouging with how ridiculously expensive they are. They spear food well and my 15 month old can use them to get the fork in his mouth. The spoon is flatter and narrow which is what little ones need when learning to feed themselves. My son has dropped them on the floor a few times and the rest that is built in keeps the times from hitting the ground.

Good product if you are in the market
My son likes these a lot. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because out of all of our baby/toddler silverware I don't see this set as being paramount to development. Maybe if I had purchased when he was a bit younger. If you're in the market for some baby tableware, you can't go wrong here.If you already have stuff from hand-me-downs or previous children, I'd say save the money and use what you've got.

GREAT for learning to self feed
My 15 month old really wants to use a fork but generally just hands me the fork to spear food and then feeds himself off of the fork, until I got this. He can spear his own food and has actually been eating more and more independently since we got this set. I also like the gag blocker since he has a tendency to shove everything all the way in his mouth until he chokes! I wish I had it when my older child was learning!

Must-Have for introducing solids!
This silverware is perfect for keeping my infant’s hands busy while I feed her, which keeps her from grabbing the spoon I’m feeding her with. And the choke guards ensure that she isn’t in danger of gagging herself as she learns to use the silverware on her own at just 5 months:)

5-month-old knows how to use it!
The media could not be loaded. My 5-month-old figured out how to use the spoon pretty quickly after I scooped some oatmeal on there. This is a great way to start teaching my little one to feed himself. The fork and spoon are so cute too! Love that he won’t push the utensils in too far and accidentally choke himself. It fits his hands perfectly. I’m very happy with this purchase! I’ll probably need to get more eventually!

Hard Pointy Fork! Ouch!!
Haven’t used this yet but... Since this is a STARTER set for self feeding I thought the material would have been a bit more pliable. The material is extremely rigid and the fork prongs are particularly pointed. I wouldn’t use the fork until the child is fully capable of not accidentally stabbing their face :( So not advisable for beginners.

Baby won't use this
I bought this because I saw so many review of parents saying it helped their children learn to use utensils. Unfortunately, my baby won't touch these and prefers other utensils, which is a bummer because these are expensive.
