Does it use the same refill scrubbing pads?

Yes, they are interchangeable. The cheap old version of this wand has a tiny hole in the plastic that lets the soap dribble into the sponge. This new version has a much larger opening that is activated by the the thumb squeeze but for me, anyway, it takes many hard squeezes to spit out some detergent. Maybe it was developed and tested by men with giant thumbs. Neither is ideal.

How do I put soap in it? Don’t want to break it

Great question! The cap at the end of the handle, opposite of the scrubber refill, twists off. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to our team at 1-800-846-8887 Mo-Fri 8am-4:30pm CT. If calling, please reference Case #28855915. Thank you!

Can you provide links to different sponge refill options that have hole for this style of wand? Some don't have hole.

It's perforated where the hole should be. You have to pop the piece out. Works for me.
