Perfect peachy-pink
I agree with M. Kammerer's review - this product works really well if you know how to use it or have help from someone who does. It needs to be used on hair lightened to level 10 and on hair with an open cuticle. My hair was already lightened and dyed a dusty pink color 4 months ago and had about 2+ inches of root regrowth. My natural color is dark ash blonde, so I don't have to process a lot to lighten. It's cut in a chin-length bob, so it doesn't take a ton of product either! I get it trimmed every 2 months or so to ditch split ends.I did a 4-step process to get this dreamy, pastel peachy-pink color:1. Soaked unwashed hair in pure, unrefined, organic coconut oil for about an hour to protect before bleaching (from the grocery store). Do not wash or rinse before applying bleach! The coconut oil will protect hair without affecting the bleaching process.2. Used manic panic flash lightening kit (30 vol. developer). Brushed onto root regrowth in sections. Once all roots were covered, I brushed remaining bleach on the rest of my hair to lift the previous pink color out. (I know this is a big no-no to re-bleach hair! I waited 4 months before re-bleaching and used the coconut oil mask to minimize damage.) The roots processed for about 30 minutes, then the ends for an additional 30, 60 minutes in total under a plastic shower cap.3. Rinsed and shampooed using purple shimmer lights shampoo. Towel and air-dried until hair was totally dry, then brushed on Manic Panic Virgin Snow toner. Saturated hair with toner, processed another 60 min while wearing shower cap.4. Rinsed toner out completely, towel and air-dried completely again. Finally! Brushed too cute coral onto hair from roots to ends in 2 inch sections and saturated hair with entire tube of color. At this point, I put on a shower cap, went to bed, and let the pastel dye process overnight (which was only about 5 hours, because I'm crazy and only slept from 2-7am).I guess I lied and there were really 5 steps to the process - in the morning I rinsed out the pravana color in cold water. AND, I'm using Bleach London Rosé shampoo and conditioner (once every 3-4 days) to maintain a soft pink tint every time I wash. This may seem like a crazy, lengthy and involved process, but it you could always just go to the salon and let them take care of it :) My end result was beautiful, shimmery, pastel peachy-pink. I've used manic panic colors mixed with conditioner and Ion color brights before to get pastel and muted colors, but this is the best dye yet - super saturated pastel.(Pictures look like different colors - just in different lighting, have not shampooed yet since dyeing.)

It's ok
This was our first time using a pastel of Pervanas colors. I absolutely love Pervana and have been using them for years. However, I didn't love this pastel. It could have just been me. We tried to get my daughter hair as close to white as we could do the color would show the best. I think we did a good job of that. But I didn't love the pigment of this particular shade. I may try another in the future but for now we just stick to the jewel tones which hold with a beautiful pigment for a very long time.

Exactly what I wanted!
I had to take away a star due to the horrible directions this product gives you. They are just plain dumb, thus, I ignored them. I had medium blonde (bottled of course) hair prior to use and chose not to prelighten because I had a very particular look in mind that required me to keep it medium level. Also, my hair couldn't take it at this time. I applied the product to dry, unwashed hair and used a spray bottle of water to mist my hair and spread the dye more thoroughly. (I will buy 2 next time so I can skip the misting, it dilutes it a bit.) Since my hair was not prelightened and I misted it, I decided to leave it in for 2 hours to make sure my hair soaked it up. I kept in a bun with a plastic bag over it the whole time. When time was up, I simply rinsed & conditioned. I am very pleased with the results as it turned out exactly how I wanted. I must mention the issues I had with the "directions" this product gave. It tells you to apply it to towel dried hair, which I know can work sometimes but color typically takes more quickly and deeply to dry hair. That's not my main problem though. The part where it tells you to shampoo during the rinsing out of this dye is ridiculous. Not to mention the 20 minutes it tells you to leave it in for. If you do those two steps you will likely have absolutely no change. No wonder so many have had no results. They've been following the directions!!! I advise to buy 2, do not dilute, leave on for at least an hour and DO NOT SHAMPOO to rinse it out unless you hate it and want it to go down the drain. I only shampoo once a week and use conditioner in its place the rest of the time to maintain my colors and I've been doing my own hair at home for over 20 yrs..That being said, I take no responsibility for how your hair turns out if you follow my directions. Everyone's hair is different and what works for me may not work for you, but if you think it's worth a try, go for it. I'm including pics, but I have to tell ya that this color is really hard to capture in pics, they don't really do it justice. I adore it, just subtle enough to keep me from looking like a woman in denial of her age but letting my freak flag fly at the same time. ;D*pretty in pink*

Don't Waste Your Money
I don't like to to say it, but I hated this product- it did nothing to my hair- and my hair is bleached white. I had been using Manic Panic Cupcake Pink dye, which I love, but I wanted to try the Pravana Pastels since I had used other colors in their Chromasilks Vivids line.I waited until my pink was completely gone and my hair was white before I put this on and it did absolutely nothing but make my hair smell like hair dye. I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 1999 and I know I did the application on the appropriate hair 'canvas'. The color was not oxidized, I did not mix it with any developer (which the inside of the package states not to), so I really don't know why the results were non existent. I was just really disappointed with this product. Save your self the headache and chemical process and use a vegetable based line Manic Panic or Punky Colour instead of wasting any time or money on the Pravana Pastel line.

Nach über zwei Wochen Verspätung endlich da und leider ist das Ergebnis nicht wie gewünscht.Habe hellblonde Haare und Farbe hat nicht angenommen. Vielleicht sind die normalen Farben ja besser wie die Pastell Töne

Didn’t work
Did nothing. I have pre-lightened blonde hair, and you couldn’t tell I had applied dye.
