Is this safe for color treated hair?

yes. My hair is color treated. I only use once a week or less.

When should I use the scrub: before or after shampoo?

Hello — we'd recommend using this scrub in place of a shampoo once or twice a week: gently massage the scrub paste on the scalp to obtain a rich foam, adding water if necessary. Rinse thoroughly and then apply a nourishing conditioner or mask. Use every two or three shampoos.

Hello — yes, this is color safe. This scrub is a great choice for removing any build-up in your hair 1 or 2 times a week.
