So how do you know what the PH is in the soil n plant

You have to do a slurry test.. mix equal parts (2 ounces) of soil with ph neutral water(7ph) .. mix for about a minute, let sit for 5 minutes, then put ph meter in slurry mix. Your reading is your ph in your soil

Can I use this in a hot tub

Why not just buy the correct product at a pool supply store (or Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc)?
