These loose tenons are made for use mortises made by the Festool DF 700EQ. The machine and the tenons are top notch. I've made large doors and large tables using the Domino machine and using these Domino Beech Tenons. Together, they make mortise & tenon joinery that is fast, strong and easy to do. These Beech Tenons fit the mortise perfectly. One trick I've learned is to lightly sand the little rib on the edge of these, which makes them insert a bit more easily, while still holding extremely well. This is especially helpful for "dry fitting", because if you don't remove that little ridge, it's very hard to pull your pieces back apart to do the actual glue up. These are well made, durable, and easy to use.

I have had the 500 for about 6 or 7 years and the results were excellent. When I found out about this one I couldn't wait for a project to use it on. When I did it was a 6" X 16" beam truss job that needed something to hold the peak miters together after assembly and WOW. Although only a month after and we are still on the job there is no daylight at all to be seen through the miters. Too cool.

I like that these are ready to use. I’ve made them in the past out of scrap in the shop it’s time consuming & way easier to purchase these.
