My must have for camping.
I am often away camping and sick of manually blowing up air beds or taking them to my car to inflate them with the cigarette charger device as usually not able to park near my tent. It does take a little while to inflate but way quicker than blowing it up manually and way easier! Easy to adjust to the firmness you prefer and no leaks so far!

Comfortable and airtight
The hand/foot pump feature actually works pretty well. It isn't the quickest, but then if you didn't already know that I'm not sure what to say to you. It isn't a huge amount of effort to inflate manually, I found it easy enough either with my foot or using the 'CPR approach' with my hands. I've also inflated it with a small, battery powered pump bought on Amazon. That was quick and effortless. The bed itself is comfortable enough. I've read reviews saying it is wonderful, better than a proper mattress and so on. If this is better than your actual mattress then you need to buy a better mattress, but it isn't a bad by any stretch of the imagination. You can alter how soft or firm it is (to a point) by how much you inflate it. I've found firmer is slightly better, less chance of sitting up and finding your bum on the floor, but preferences are personal. As an occasional bed I think it would be fine. I'd put people on it without feeling guilty about their backs in the morning. I've used it as a camping bed, where it is bigger and heavier than a normal bed roll but far, far comfier. It is listed as a double but I'm not entirely convinced. I'm 6'3" and my feet pass the end of it and I don't think I'd get another me on there either. That said, I'm a bit of an outlier on the bell curve, it would probably fit two normal adults on there well enough. For a single sleeper it is rather spacious. It packs down well, with the air exiting top and centre you can empty it and roll it up neatly very quickly and easily. I've also used the aforementioned pump to vacuum it down (seriously, cracking little gadget: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08696TW6R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ). The material/plastic/rubber/whatever material it's made of feels sturdy enough, and I haven't woken up on the floor wondering where the air has gone yet either. It does smell plasticy/rubbery but then I suppose it is. Four stars overall. It is easy enough to inflate, but easier still with an electric pump, it is absolutely comfortable enough to sleep soundly on and it is a doddle to put away too. Can't grumble for the price I paid (£25), and it's actually dropped a couple of quid since I bought it too. I think I knocked a star off for that alone to be honest, nobody likes knowing they could have paid less for something...

Takes a bit of time and energy to inflate using the internal pump but worth while.
Very comfortable. Having read the reviews on this I followed some of the advice as the first time I inflated it I found it was going down within 12 hours. However don't send it back without trying this. If you remove all bungs and re seat it will stay up a couple of nights with approx 25 stone on it which lets be fair is what you expect from an air bed. The pump does its job and will get you out of a mess but I found myself using my hand as my foot didn't seal enough. My advice would be use a powered pump when possible which it also has a bung for. Overall good for the money and compact considering its inflated size.

Wish I had read the reviews before purchase -dont waste your money
Took this with me camping, thought the built in foot pump would be a good idea but it took ages, so used my friends pump, bed pumped up in no time.. come back a few hours later and bed is already very deflated, so I attempt to pump it up using the foot pump, it pumps it a little but it is so much work for such little air to go inside.. I had a terrible night sleep as I just couldn't get comfy and the mattress was just deflating. In the end I just opened the valve and let all the air out as it wasn't doing anything at all. Second night attempted to blow up and try again but again the same problem, air just didn't stay inside the mattress.. Third night of trying to use it I actually packed it away because it's frankly, absolutely useless and the foot pump was actually in the way of my leg where I was trying to sleep. My friend camps alot and when I told him about this mattress and the issues the response was, yeah they seem all well and good but aren't really practical - stick with the traditional mattresses. Since mine deflated a couple hours after pumping it and before I even got a chance to properly use it, I've asked Amazon to return the item as faulty. I don't know if the unit itself is faulty or a design flaw but I had three very uncomfortable nights and wish I had just bought a standard thin air mattress. Really disappointed as I thought silent night was a good brand. Also looks like I'm back to the drawing board to find myself a decent air mattress for my next trip :( what's more disappointing is I have a bad back anyway and thought this would help (or at least not be detrimental) and in fact I had no air mattress at all because this was useless really didn't help my physical wellbeing. Don't recommend.

Good quality and value air bed
Really well made, very comfortable and the built in foot pump is ideal - well worth the few extra £'s over other choices. Although it was perfect for my use if you are going to use for two people and usually sleep in a large bed it might be worth just checking the size is large enough for you both and go for a larger size if needed.

It's OK (ish)
I made the mistake of buying before reading the reviews. From opening the box and pulling out the airbed it took a good while to actually pump it up, but once pumped up it was firm and comfy. The first night sleep on it was a surprise, took around 4 hrs for to wake up to find a deflated bed. Checking the bed in the morning I came to the conclusion that the air release plug was not tight fitting, so I got some PTFE tape and wrapped it around the plug. The next night was a different story, the bed stayed pumped up and I managed to get a full night's sleep.

Great for camping
I bought this for a motorcycle tour I was embarking on. I'm too old to be sleeping on the ground and despite the fantastical claims, I found the thin mattresses just aren't up to the job and are actually quite uncomfortable after any length of time. The idea of built in pump appealed to me. Although some reviewers seemed to have trouble with it, I found it fairly effective. It does take a bit of a knack to use it, but it's really very easy and I could have it pumped up in a minute or two. It's comfortable to sleep on and I had no trouble with it deflating at all. Note that there's an additional plug that has to be fitted. You'll find it in the little bag that contains the patch. It's also very simple to deflate with the large plug on the end. Packing it away is a simple affair and no more waiting ages or wrestling with the mattress to get all the air out of it. The built in pillow is a nice addition. It's just high enough to take away the need to carry an extra pillow. For the time I was away, this mattress served me well and I had only good nights of sleep leaving me ready for the ride the next day.

Comfortable and Easy to Inflate, But Foot Pump Takes Some Huff
We took this Silentnight Double Air Bed on a weekend camping trip for two adults, and it held up well as a no-fuss inflatable option—definitely punches above its weight for the price. At 191x137cm and a generous 28cm height, it fits a double sleeping bag comfortably without feeling cramped, and the built-in pillow section is a nice touch for propping up your head without needing extras. The flocked top is soft against the skin (no sticking to sheets), and the beam construction provides decent support—minimal bottoming out even on uneven ground, though we added a thin foam mat underneath for extra insulation. Inflation via the built-in foot pump is straightforward and electricity-free, getting us from flat to firm in about 5 minutes of moderate pumping. Deflation is just as quick with the release valve, and it rolls up compactly into the included carry bag for easy car boot storage. We used it indoors for a houseguest too, and it stayed inflated overnight without leaks—woke up feeling rested, not achy. That said, for a double bed, the foot pump requires more effort than I'd like (my calves were working overtime compared to a single), so if you're not up for 100+ stomps, consider an electric add-on for future use. It's also not the quietest to inflate if you're in a shared tent, but that's par for the course with foot pumps. No major durability issues after a few nights, but we'd patch any punctures with the included kit. Overall, a solid, versatile airbed that delivers comfort and convenience for indoor/outdoor snoozes. Great for occasional use like festivals or visitors—Silentnight's rep shines through. If you're after something more luxurious, look elsewhere, but this does the job reliably.
