Bosch RW66 6-Inch 6 TPI Wood Cutting reciprocating Saw Blades - 5 Pack

I bought these blades to be used on my Bosch reciprocating saw. I had and have plenty of blades for metal and other material but needed a good stash of blades purely for cutting wood....various types of wood; more for demolition than anything else. You can have the best saw in the world but if your blades are dull, bend or are poorly made, then the nice saw you have is next to worthless. These blades work perfectly for cutting limbs. I also make canes and harvest a lot of small saplings which usually includes cutting down a root level. These blades do an excellent job on that. I am also in the process of wrecking an old chicken barn and building a new one. Again, these blades came though. Like another reviewer here, I would not recommend these blades for plywood or any such material where you want a nice smooth cut....indeed, the teeth on these blades are a bit to wide for that sort of work. This shipping on these was fast, efficient and care free. The price here on Amazon is quite competitive when I compare with what I can find locally. It should be noted that these shorter blades can hold up to much more abuse than some of the longer blades available. In the sort of work I do with this saw that is quite important. Pretty much every thing that Bosch makes is excellent

I ordered these to block smaller diameter firewood. Using the recip saw for this is rough on the saw. These work well for blocking 6 inch or less diameter logs. I am thinking the tooth pattern allows for excellent cutting and clearing sawdust. There was less vibration than the finer tooth pattern blades. I can't yet evaluate the sturdiness or durability of these bosch blades, but I am pleased the 20 or so logs were cut without a broken or bent blade.

I use both the DeWalt Compact Reciprocating Saw and the full size DeWalt model. Since we have quite a bit of wetlands on two sides of our waterfront property in Southwest Florida, I have to periodically trim the mangroves to maintain our view and also cut out the invasive vegetation that continues to sprout and grow explosively. At first I used gas-powered chainsaws and trimmers but switched from those because of the tight and perilous working conditions. Add in the insects, thorny vegetation and various critters and you have a cornucopia of problems. A trip and fall while working with powerful cutting tools can result in an extremely difficult situation. So I switched to machetes, hand pruners and saws. The problem there was the physical effort required in 95 degree heat and humidity. It simply took longer and took a lot more out of me. In a "Eureka" moment I decided to try a battery powered reciprocating saw; easily maneuverable in tight quarters, requires a lot less physical effort, and doesn't put out any heat. I use the longer saw (up to 12" blades) for the larger limbs and trunks and the compact saw (with 6" wood cutting blades) for up to 2" growth. Although both use the same battery and have similar specs, the larger saw really is the more powerful and useful. I haven't tried a smaller blade in the larger saw yet but I might give it a try. Either that will provide great results or be an epic fail. There are a lot of manufacturers out there who make reciprocating saw blades and I have tried most of them. At this point I only use Bosch wood cutting blades in different lengths (depending on the task) and have found them to be faster cutting, longer lasting, and much easier overall to use. They might cost a little bit more but it's worth it.

Sharp and Durable

Best buy in town. These blades are tough and hold their edge. Treat 'em right and they'll perform for you. Abuse 'em and nothing will satisfy you. Any tool is like that, but poor quality is a waste of time and resources. These are high quality blades at a reasonable price and they will cut green wood as well as any bow saw. If you try to cut dry, hardwood, they will burn, bend and break. Instead, switch to a chainsaw and use plenty of oil. Suit the tool to the job and you will be happy.

Using them in my Black and Decker sawzall and I am totally impressed with the way these blades cut through 1½" tree limbs. Slices right through them without any difficulty. I tried the Horusdy brand first and those were terrible from the get go. Bought in March of 2021 and the only con I have is that the price has gone up 50% since then. I would still buy them over the cheaper Horusdy brand tho.

Recently purchased these blades for my reciprocating saw. They are absolutely amazing. I'm still on my first blade, which I have been using to cut down small eastern red cedar trees that are growing in my pastures. Before these blades, I never used my reciprocating saw because I had tried it out with some other brands of blades, which were all but useless. I chalked it up to my saw, thinking that it was not that handy of a tool. However, after listening to a co-worker of mine rave about his reciprocating saw, and how he used it to prune his trees, I decided to research some new blades. That is when I found these Bosch wood cutting blades, which I could not be happier with. No more lugging around my chainsaw to cut down cedars!

These are my favorite clean wood blades, they cut quickly and reasonably well. When bosch more or less disappeared from local store shelves I never thought I'd be able to get more. Now that I've found them on Amazon I'm very happy! The price to quality ratio is excellent, they perform well even when compared to much more expensive blades. Highly recommend for cutting clean wood.
