There are no 2 ways about it. Berkeley is a monster, when it comes to quality..... Predictable.... Well priced.... Not complicated.... Catches them all....lures!!!! I am not Albert Einstein when it comes to the intricacies of fishing. And that's what I love about Berkeley.... They keep it simple.... and make you look like a pro on the water. I get complimented all the time on my Stringers dangling from my kayak....And bag when I do a local Tournament.....simply because of the gear, and bait I am using.....not necessarily my inherent fishing ability! No lie!. . Technique is important with certain types of fishing.... But in my opinion, when fishing for bass, your gear .....and attention to lure choice.... is 90% of the game. I have seen very technical fishermen....get absolutely skunked....because they are using garbage lures, and bait! . Don't be that guy at the boat launch. Who has nothing to show for their day on the water.... It is, simply as Berkeley, in my boat.... Nothing more to it! Perch can’t get enough of these

We call crappie in the south specs and they were chopping on these vertical jigging in the lily pads in 3 foot of water. This lure produced an equal amount as the live minnows, going keep some in the box for future fishing.

This is a fantastic lure for brown trout. Even the big trout feel attracted to this little guy. I've caught several big browns, the biggest one was 5.5 pounds. The only reason I gave this a 4 star is because the package comes with 8 minnow but only 2 hooks. I don't know if Berkley sells the hooks separately, if any of you know please let me know.

Perfect for spawning smallies or scholling perch great action. I recommend salting this product before use.

I love all of Berkley's PowerBait lures, in particular the minnows. I gave these shad a try and found them to have realistic action. However in comparison with the white minnows (I use 3 and 4 inch) they take a lot more work and so far, have provided far less success than the former. When fitted on a jighead of appropriate size, they present with a realistic swimming action, but require far more movement to keep them interesting to target fish such as walleye. I'd reccommend keeping a packet of these in your tackle box, maybe treating with walleye scent periodically, and trying in clearer water than for the white minnows.
