is it sharp and battle ready

It’s got a good point but not sharp at all. I could run my hand all over the blade and not even come close to being cut, and also it was very poorly made and things came to me broken.

I saw something sawing it was glued onto the hilt is that true

Yeah its pretty cheaply made to be honest. For the price its sturdier than i expected. But it looks like the glue they where talking about is there to hold on some of the wrappings on the hilt.

Oh my gosh! This product is very sharp. Exercise caution. I cut my pants leg while pulling it out of it's box. It is very well made. The weight and look makes it feel very authentic.
