This tape is the bomb.
This tape is amazing. Sticks really well, stands up to solvents, and even the laser cleaner, leaves no residue. If you’re using automotive paints, get some! You’ll never go back to blue tape. Don’t use this over freshly painted areas because it’s strong and will pull up fresh paint. Ask me how I know…

Fantastic
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is night and day difference to basic blue painters tape I was getting at Home Depot. This stuff actually stays adhered very well but still leaves no residue when removing. And I am no longer having the issue of paint "creeping" under the edge of tape. This gives me clean line. Worth the additional cost. 3M almost never disappoints.

Not worth the money

I use this as a Temporary PPF (Paint Protection Film)
I left this tape on my car for 5 days and didn't leave any sticky or gross residue behind. Now this tape is not meant to be left on a car that long... At least I don't think, but I wanted something that I could use as a temporary DIY PPF to protect my car from rock chips during a long drive and this stuff was fantastic. I did about 3 layers on the front of my car and it held up great. It is much larger in width compared to traditional painters tape which makes using it to tape up the front of your car much quicker, as it covers a larger surface area. It's pretty thin, which is why I recommend doing multiple layers if being used as a temporary PPF

This tape is strong - Comes off easy- Leaves no residue - Taped my windows for last Hurricane/Tropical Storm we had here in Florida - Perfect - Great value - Will buy again and keep on hand not just for Hurricanes, but for all uses - Highly recommended
