Leila's Nowruz Adventure: Activity and Coloring Book

This is a great workbook that explains some of the traditions involved with celebrating Nowruz. My daughter was very excited to do the activities. They are interactive and we were able to discuss many of the activities as a family. It was a great way to introduce a child to the holiday. My daughter is 5, and this book was great. But, I can see it being appropriate for kid's several years older too. Some things covered are what haft sin stands for with examples of items. Setting goals and resolutions for the new year. Some activities associated with Nowruz, like spring cleaning and spending the final day outdoors. Great little workbook!

I got this product for my 6 year old who loves to paint and draw and is interested in Farsi. It is just okay, not that great. Maybe better for older kids with some Persian school background. I will save it and re introduce next year to see if I get more interest.

A great way to introduce Norooz to youngsters. All relevant information is made into a fun activity.

We bought 40 copies of this book for Norooz this year and it was a fantastic gift for all the area children who attended our big party (NC Persian Cultural Center). The author has done an amazing job of keeping this entertaining as well as educational. I highly recommend it.

Great information about Nowruz. Adding this holiday to my teaching list. Good recipes, ideas, and crafts for children.Went to the Smithsonian for their Nowruz Celebration and brought the book - many were impressed.

My daughter loved this activity and coloring book. It gave her an opportunity to learn more about Persian culture. She enjoyed it so much that she would talk to her friends at school, and ask her Persian friends about things she learned in the book.

This book is filled with Nowruz activities for kids. Living in a culture that doesn't support this holiday as much as others, I appreciate this resource. Thanks

As my husband is from Iran, I got this for my daughter so she could learn about his new year. She is 5 and loves looking at the pictures and has even taken it to school with her.

Very creatively thought out book! Doesn't only focus on Nowruz, but the Farsi alphabet and numbers. Great find!
