I have a Subaru, very small area to mount it but was able to make it work.

Its cheap and does the job. I have installed several and have yet to be let down. Works for a power steering cooler replacement too

I purchased this item for my 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5S with the CVT transmission because I am of the understanding that excessive heat is the early killer of these modern CVT transmission. I am quite handy with installing auxiliary items such as this cooler. It is not the greatest quality and design, but for the price it is not bad at all. The fasteners that came with the kit were ideal but for most applications, I think that the hose provided was not sufficient, so you may have to purchase additional hose for your specific project. Once I completed the install and took the car out for a drive, I can tell that the cooler is doing its job just as intended. On return form my test drive, the cooler fins were quite warm so I concluded that the heat transfer was working just fine. I hope to have the life of the trans lengthened by this kit. Thank you.

Easy to install

I ordered this for a GM car, which it was supposed to fit, but it did not come with everything I needed to install it. I needed to buy an extra hose (only needed another foot), and after looking all over in stores, had to search for a while to find a GM adapter (Derale 13035) on Amazon. The Four Seasons kit comes with a generic radiator adapter that I could not use, and instructions to order a kit "390" for GM/Jeep. There was no such kit on Amazon. Be aware that the instructions show a half dozen more kits that may need to be bought for adapting to different vehicles.I found the thick nylon straps for mounting on radiator/condenser coil to be too hard to get through the fins. I feared damaging what cost me $800 to replace last time at the dealer, so I looped my own zip-ties through to finish the job. You have to impale the foam pads in the process, or they won't stay in place. Instructions need to enlarge their diagrams to show this clearly. On some vehicles, like mine, you may have to remove your grille and bumper skin assembly to get a clear shot at mounting this - or any other - cooler.No problem with the cooler itself, which is working fine with no leaks, but make sure to check your fluid level with the engine running after installation. The cooler and hoses may take up to an extra half-quart or so of fluid.

Highly recommend for Altima’s with CVT trans. They have undersized transmission coolers for CVT. I’d do it even under warranty, Nissan claims it only to void warranty in the case it causes any issues. Put in right, it’ll prevent any, and help the performance of it considering that the fluid viscosity won’t be thinned out by heat.

Fit perfectly and did the job right just what I needed it for

Easy install. Well worth doing. Save that transmission. Cooler is always better when it comes to the transmission and this is a good cooler.

Works as advertised. Installed on 04 crv and drove through Rockies. Kept trans temp low. Was about as hot as a cup of coffee inside when I checked it
