Great set of chips, especially at this price
Note: I bought a Warehouse deal, so mine is a bit damaged. My rating is based on the non-damaged portion. It's really difficult to find good, inexpensive, denominated chips. I saw the other ratings and had my doubts, but the deal was good, so I took it. I'm glad I did. The denominations are stickers, but they're pasted on well (absolutely no signs of it peeling off anytime soon), and there's no slipping when stacked together. The chips are heavy enough for casual play, and other than someone who's a poker chip snob, I don't think anyone's going to care. They're going to see a cool, denominated set that looks better than all the other cheap, colored ones people buy at Walmart or what not. I really like how the numbers are displayed minimalistically. Many other denominated chips have really busy-looking chip faces, and I don't care for those. I think for this price, it's a really good set. The dice are nice and larger than standard -- 19mm I think. The dealer/blinds chips are a nice touch, and the cards and cut cards are fine, too, I guess. A small problem is that there really isn't a set place for the dealer chips and cut cards, so they just sort of sit on top of the card decks and dice. My biggest complaint is the case. It does the job ok, but the handle feels too light-duty for it, and the rest of the case feels flimsy. The foam doesn't stay in place and constantly falls when the case is open. I mostly use the set at home, so it's not a huge deal for me, because I don't carry it around very much. If you bring your chips around a lot, just be aware you'll have to be a bit careful with the transportation. I'd give it 4.5 stars if i could, but I think it rounds up to a 5 when the price and everything else factors in.

Be the guy that brings the good stuff
great chips. Bought to impress my friends at poker night and I was big hit. We were using the cheap plastic ones before and we won't play anymore unless we got these. Real good feel in your hand, good weight and bright graphics/colors. They last last last and I have enjoyed them a lot. They think I payed a lot of money for them but you and I know better. The chips are fantastic for the price and our weekly plays. The only thing I wish for is that the case was a little bit more sturdy. These chips are heavy and the case is ok for government work. I keep an eye on the case everytime I close it and pick it up because I don't feel real secure about the case staying close. If I don't keep an eye on it, instead of playing poker, I may be playing 52 card pick up and 100 chip pick up. Get it if you are thinking about stepping up your game. You won't be disappointed. Dr. J

Nice set for the money. Perfect for Craps.
This item was ordered and was received in the promised two day delivery window. The case is not as sturdy as I would prefer, but not as flimsy as others have stated. The chips are heavy, so if used with caution, there shouldnโt be any issue. The chips were inspected, and the count was exact and all. Hips were in new condition. Only one $5 chip sticker was not centered properly and was only slightly off center. This causes the sticker to stick up where it overlaps the edge, so Iโll contact the manufacturer to request a new chip. They have a nice feel and weight to them and all were in perfect condition except the one previously mentioned. The case seems sufficient to handle the weight of the chips, and I do not see that as an issue. The inside plastic tray was in good shape and there was no damage or crushing noted. The cards are ok, nothing special, and no negative comments here. The markers (Dealer, Small Blind and Large Blind are in good condition with no blemishes, etc. The photo of the inside of the case reflects how the unit was shipped. The case was opened and the photo taken. You can see that the chips were wrapped in stacks of 25. In conclusion, I am very happy with this set and would recommend it to others.

Da Vinci Casino Del Sol poker chip review
I'll write this review with as much detail as possible to help others who are considering this item. I'll start by saying: ---all my comments are in perspective of the price point of these, which for me was 55 bucks shipped ---these are MID-RANGE chips - they are better than chips at the retail stores but NOT Professional/Vegas quality ---my friends and I really like these chips ---I bought these to replace non-denomination Cardinal poker chips from Walmart ---I did a lot of research on various chip types and prices The POKER CHIP details: ---these are composite chips with a metal core ---there is a vinyl sticker in middle with the denomination on it ---the chips are a good weight at 11.5g - they are heavy enough to feel substantial ---the denominations are easy to read at a glance from across the table ---the chips have "good-enough" friction - they are sticky enough to handle easily but not super-sticky ---the chips stack pretty well and do not topple on their own ---the chips feel good in your hand - we play with them a lot while mulling over next moves - clinking, rubbing, etc. ---the chips have a decent sound - there's a subtle 'clink' when dropping them on top of each other ---the 'clink' is due to the metal core but it's less clinky than other composite metal core chips I've heard ---when opening everything up for the first time I spent an hour unwrapping the chips ---when opening everything up for the first time I easily cleaned off the few rough-edged chips with my fingernail ---when opening everything up for the first time a few chips were stuck together but easily separated The CASE details: ---the case quality is fair overall - mine had small rips in the felt at the top hinge but it's not obvious ---the top foam was attached by static electricity (seriously) so I used a glue stick to mount it there permanently ---there was a small dent on the top front corner but it does not affect functionality and it's not obvious ---the insert that holds the chips is a felt-like material and is decent quality ---the latches are solid and close well ---the locks and keys are sub-par quality and I would not recommend using them ---the handle itself is solid but the part of the case where it's attached to bows slightly when you carry it around ---I use the case for storage and transport but I handle it carefully as it's "just sturdy enough" and not super-sturdy The OTHER details: ---the decks of cards are very slippery/flimsy, which is typical at this price point - replace them with Bicycle/Bee ---the dice are semi-transparent red with white pips and I'd rate the pip paint quality as decent ---the dice have a worn feel and are not slippery ---the dice are 18mm which is a bit larger than standard dice ---overall the dice quality is decent but you can find much better dice elsewhere on Amazon ---the buttons and cut cards are decent quality - the buttons look slightly worn but it does not affect functionality Comments on overall quality of the set: ---when you buy this you should get a "good" set - everything works but maybe has a few scuffs/scratches ---after using this for a few weeks I bought a second set, but that set had a malformed foam insert ---I returned the second set immediately and at no cost and ordered a third - the third set came in good shape ---the manufacturer does not have great quality assurance checking before shipping these out ---if you get a "no good" set do not hesitate to return it and order another, as I did ---returning it is free and it's worth it to get a good set at this price point Final summary: ---we like these chips and use them for replacement currency in board games and they work very well for that ---the set is a bit fiddly out of the box but if you can get through that it's worth it in my opinion ---this is NOT a Professional/Vegas quality set so don't expect that, but it's a great set for amateur/home players ---for more info on various kinds of poker chips Google for 'Board Games with Scott Poker Chips' for a 26 min video I hope this helps you in your buying decision. Happy poker playing/blackjack playing/board gaming! :)

Gambling has never been easier
This item was exactly what I needed to fuel my habit. I love gambling, but I love winning money more when I see how much my chips are worth. This really lets you stick it to your friends who are having trouble eating because they lose so much to you. I wish I could have bought this sooner, there is nothing better than watching your friends desperately try to sell you their baby for just another hand. Boy those babies are DELISH! On a side note, the chips seem in good condition, and I think that if you replace the decks with nice bicycle decks it would be better, but all the pieces seem just what you need, I'm sure when your friends get drunk they will lose them, but you have a lot, and unless you plan to open a casino it should be fine. I saw a lot of people complain about the case before I bought it, and I think that it's decent for what you are buying. I wouldn't store the codes to a nuke in it, but it works fine for storage. DON'T try to lock it, I almost broke the key off, and although you have two, I doubt people are going to want that bad to get into it. If you are looking to play games with you friends over a buck or two, or just cookies, I think this is a great way to go about it (I do it for who takes shots). It's also cheaper than any other you will find out there with the money printed on it, etc.

Great set!
Good quality. case is durable and solid, even locks shut. The chips are nice, heavy and the amount is printed on. Not a cheap sticker! 2 decks of playing cards, nicely laminated. I bought this as a gift for my husband and he loved it. The following weekend he had a poker party. Everybody commented on how much they liked his kit. The keys are the small cheap looking keys that Come with a diary, but it gets the job done and the case locks nicely. Haven't had any problem with the case coming open.. Even with a curious toddler messing with it. This is a very heavy kit, I was honestly very surprised by the weight. Would definitely purchase again!

Nice set!
Overall These are a nice quality set of numbered poker chips. I had about 500 blank chips and decided to upgrade to a numbered set. Now I don't have to keep reminding people what the chip values are. Also, I bought the set of 750 chips as well which came with $1000 and $5000 value chips which this set does not have. Chips The chips are not casino clay ones but they are perfect for home games. However, there isn't any $10 or $50 chips. Not a big deal but I decided to buy $10 chips separately. Only one gripe so far for the chips is that one of the $25 chips had a $500 label on one side. I removed the label and had to sharpie in "$25". I am not sure if it came from this set or the 750 chip set. It's the only chip that I have ran into so far with a misprinted label. Cards My set came with 2 decks of blue playing cards and a black cut card. The playing cards are standard index and are decent quality with a plastic coating. I wish they came with 1 red deck and 1 blue deck because we use 2 decks at a time during play. I bought a bunch of red decks separately. Case The case is good enough and will hold up for a while. I wouldn't suggest dropping it when full however as it may break.
