A doddle to fit and sounds pretty good. Fitted this into my Seat Ibiza FR. Got the facia from vag-navisystems which meant I didn't have to relocate the hazard switch etc. Got a Connect2 harness, so no wire cutting and works with the incar controls. Setup was pretty straight forward and with a few tweaks, I'm getting much better sound than the stock stereo. All in all I'm pleased with the result. *edit* I've deducted a star for the whitenoise that is generated by a UI sound and also when bluetooth is used.

Fantastic bit of kit for the price. Easily fitted a DAB windscreen antenna and it worked with the existing wiring loom. Wired into my reversing camera and the screen size isn’t a problem, works well. Looks good and adds DAB and Bluetooth. Very happy.

Good unit and works much better than my previous JVC. Reason for purchase was the benefit of DAB and built in reversing camera option. Seller sent out the wrong item by mistake but after contacting them they made the return and resupply a very speedy process. I would highly recommend Nottingham Hi-Fi and would use them again.

Contacted Amazon but as it's literally just out of the four week return period I've had to contact JVC directly. The Control Dial is for the majority of the time completely unresponsive (except for pause and mute), which means you can't navigate the menus, or change the volume, and if you get it stuck on a very low volume, or worse very high, then the unit is useless until it starts to work again, some 15minutes down the road. The unit itself is decent, display is crisp and clear to read, the startup time is maybe 8 - 10 seconds. the controls are for most part intuitive apart from having two different menus if you press or hold the menu button. One menu would have been sufficient. Sound quality is decent, no complaints wired up to Focal speakers. Bluetooth to a Samsung S9 is 'almost' flawless, occasionally had it not connect at all but 'turning it off and on again' does actually fix that. All in all, if the control dial worked correctly I'd be happy, considering the price though I'd have hoped the unit would have lasted more than four weeks, and I'd have hoped Amazon would have replaced it no questions ask, but seems not. I'll update if I hear back from JVC support. Update: Well, Amazon told me to try turning it off and on again (not joking), then told me to talk to JVC,.. JVC replied telling me to talk to Amazon.., Amazon's now agreed to send out a new unit, so will see if that lasts longer than a matter of weeks. Update 2: At 5.5 weeks and still working, so far so good.

After 2 or 3 hours leaving the car parked i.e. unit turned off, it loses all settings, radio stations, favourites etc. Basically it is back to factory settings. JVC sent me instructions on how to update the firmware, but that made no difference. They gave me no way to get back back to them, just the usual no-reply email, so now I am stuck. And Amazon is no help with anything technical.

Does everything and more that I wish, sleek, easy to fit, great sound and features. Quality as one would expect from a name we can trust.

I've been unfortunate enough to own this pup of a stereo for over two years, in my work van. When it first arrived, I was pretty disappointed by how poor the software was. The reverse camera screen has a massive warning text which obscures most of the small screen, rendering the function almost useless. Frequent software crashes, bugs made it infuriating. The stereo would often lose bluetooth connection, forget it's settings and most annoyingly keep randomly switching from usb/bluetooth to FM, at full volume. This wasn't down to TA or anything as there has never been an aerial plugged in. The worst bit of this stereo is the I N C R E D I B L Y weak amplifier. I'm an electronic engineer and bench tested it into a dummy load at under 7 watts per channel, and the quality of those 7 watts was awful. Finally, this crock did me the favour of failing almost completely, and I replaced it with a cheapo chinese android unit which is more reliable, has infinitely better sound quality and much better features. Overall, this is probably the worst piece of branded consumer electronics I've ever wasted my money on, and I'm sad that I put up with it for as long as I did.

Radio con bluetoth fácil de instalar, buen sonido, RDS fantástico ,se sintoniza automáticamente con la radio que estas escuchando al cambiar de zona y vuelve a sintonizar de vuelta sin saltos extraños en el sonido. el bluetooth enlaza perfectamente (en mi caso iPhone XS), entrada para USB y AUX. Control por voz (via SIRI), pero a tres del botón especifico de la radio Llamadas por voz (via Siri) o a través de los mandos de la radio Llamadas recientes, etc.. La función cámara no la he probado. y por poner una pega .. no esta incluida la antena para poder escuchar la radio por DAB, así que no la he podido probar en ese aspecto, pero si escucho la radio por internet a través del Mobil. En definitiva muy recomendable si necesitas un autorradio con manos libres y que se conecte perfectamente al Mobil con un diseño atractivo y con buenos acabados.

radio werkt goed, matig tevreden. dab antenne niet inbegrepen, verlichting enkel blauwe kleur, enkel de optie om de achtergrondkleur te veranderen tussen zwart of blauw wordt gegeven. Ingewikkelde bediening, klankinstellingen en opslaan favorieten nog niet in orde bij mij... zal hopelijk wel wennen... DAB werkt goed, telefoon koppelt gemakkelijk.

Letztes Jahr hatte ich mich entschieden, mein sehr unübersichtliches Cabrio mit einer Rückfahrkamera auszustatten. Um die Montage eines externen Monitors mit eigener Verkabelung zu vermeiden, ist die beste Lösung ein Radio als Rückfahrkameradisplay. Dieses ist bei OEM Autoradios schon seit über einem Jahrzehnt Standard. Also waren die Minimalanforderungen: 1-DIN Format Rückfahrkamera Unterstützung UKW-Radio USB Anschluß zum Abspielen von MP3 Musik Bis auf die Rückfahrkamera Unterstützung hat mein altes JVC Radio dies alles beherrscht inclusive Bluetooth-Telefonie. Da es heute entweder generische Radioschächte oder 2-DIN Autoradios gibt, war die Auswahl für 1-DIN sehr begrenzt und die Bewertungen alle sehr schlecht. Dies ist das Vierte was ich ausprobiert habe und es ist endlich ein Radio was alles wirklich gut kann, was beworben wird und können soll. UKW Radio und MP3s vom USB Stick abspielen + Rückfahrkamera. Dieses Radio hat noch zusätzlich DAB+ und war fast 3 Mal so teuer, wie 2 der restlichen 3. Leider konnten die Anderen nichts richtig gut, entweder unterirdischer UKW Empfang, alle MP3s in einem Verzeichnis oder nur 16GB Sticks mit 1600 Dateien möglich oder Abstürze bei UKW Radio oder Android Auto. Ich betreibe das Radio an einer Motor-Stabantenne. Für den DAB Empfang habe ich noch zusätzlich einen FM DAB-Splitter-Verstärker gekauft. Meine Erfahrungen mit diesem Radio. Plus: ISO-Anschluß problemlos (bei einigen Autos wie zum Beispiel Opel müssen Zündungsplus A4 und Dauerplus A7 getauscht werden) - Andere haben wirre non-Standard Kabelbäume mit 25 dürren Drähten! Stromanschluß für die Rückfahrkamera separat UKW Radioempfang sehr gut DAB+ Empfang sehr gut Problemlose und intuitive Ordnernavigation auf dem USB-Stick mit 4500 Songs in 3 Ebenen. Beim Abspielen Anzeige des jpg-Covers und der ID3 Information. Bluetooth Anbindung (Samsung Android Handy) für Telefonieren und Streamen problemlos. Das Bild der Rückfahrkamera wird problemlos angezeigt. Minus: Relativ lange Bootzeit. Endlich ein Radio was alles wirklich gut kann, was beworben wird und es können soll. Man merkt sofort, daß hier Menschen mit Erfahrung Radioradios entwickeln, wie es früher auch bei Blaupunkt oder Becker war.
