Could this cope with a juice fast and be efficient? I'm doing an orange juice fast and juicing 4ltrs a day. 40/50 oranges. Does it tip or splash?

I haven't had a problem with it tipping or splashing. For me I get about 1 litre out of 8 large oranges. So 4 litres would be 32 large oranges. So yes it's more efficient. Be careful to tighten the bolts from time to time. It comes with a key for this.

Does it produce juice that is thick? I imagine it depends on the strainer. I don't want only thin water like juice. Thanks

The juice you’ll get is whatever is in the orange so I assume you mean the bits of orange. You can scrape out what’s left in the orange and add to the juice. Some bits will go through though.
