Quality and dense color
This set is worth the price. I use it alone, blending with the included water brush or with traditional brush watercolors. Very nice!

Best Watercolor Markers
Wonderful blending. The pigment does stain my fingers a little. But I love them!!

They blend beautifully
I hesitated on pulling the trigger to buy these but am glad that I finally did. I love my Zig Clean Color brush pens, and these are a lovely complement to them. Talk about vibrant, saturated color.... on the money. These are more opaque and lay down a lot more color in one swipe than the Zigs. Both have a place in my studio. Yesterday I used them both on a piece - best of both worlds. My only gripe is the price, but we'll see how long they last. They might just be worth the big ticket :-) One thing I have noticed is that they do not blend well if you lay them directly down on dry paper and then try to blend them. They blend best by either laying color on a palette and picking it up with a wet brush, or by using a water brush and taking the pigment tip to tip. This method allows for a really nice dark to light application that is super blendable.

Amazing vibrancy !
These water color pens are amazing. The colors are so bright and saturated and they have continued to work perfectly since I bought them 2 months ago! They are great for beginner water colorists and advanced artists alike! Two thumbs up!

Great Pens.
At first when these arrived I wasn't exactly as impressed as I wanted to be with them, it was kind of an impulse purchase. They felt a little bit like y'know, markers. BUT, after playing with them for a few days now I am thrilled with how these are turning out. The pens blend BEAUTIFULLY, which I wasn't really that excited for before they arrived but once I'd played and used the blending pen, I was really happy I had gotten them. Now I just need a reason to use them other than wasting my watercolor paper on writing my name, and the names of my siblings over and over.

Create something beautiful!
In years of creating art, I had never really tried brush markers. I recently received a few of another brand in a seminar goody bag with products to sample and enjoyed using them. Later I saw some work by other artists who mentioned these brush pens and thought I might try them. This particular set has a good variety of colors and a blender. It seems like it will take some practice if you’re not experienced with brush markers, but if you are, you would probably love them. There are instructions and tips for using. The box they come in is also very nice. I’m very impressed by these markers and look forward to creating some more art with them. Highly recommended.

Great Pigmented Markers BUT...
These markers are the best pro set of markers I've ever used and have been using markers for many years!I blend them on a glass service first and then use the blender marker to apply the ink... Or I add ink from one marker to the nib of the blender and another color to the very tip of the blender and apply the ink to my drawing. There's so many ways these markers can be used... play with them and discover all their possibilities for your own art work. They work great for car travel or plenair work.BUT... as you play and practice with them, beware! if you leave ink on the nib without brushing if off on paper before putting it away... That ink will stain your blender with that remaining color and it will no longer be colorless... making it useless for blending. Buying other blenders is possible... I found Karin brushmarkers blenders on BLICK for under 3.00 each plus s&h. A seller on Amazon is selling 2 for $8.00 each, way too expensive for my pocket. Enjoy your creative journey!
