Love this eco-friendly alternative to sponges, they look lovely hanging on my taps and work just as well as plastic sponges - good for scrubbing and good on delicate items too.I hang them up to dry to keep them hygienic, and they go stiff, but as soon as they get wet they soften up again.No negatives to these beauties and they’ll last for ages!

As previous reviewers have commented they are not as flexible as non-natural sponges but this feels like a small price to pay for saving the planet! I have just started using a washing-up cloth too which solves the hard to reach things like glasses.The one I am using stays clean is not showing any sign of wear and has already lasted better than the non-natural equivalent. I think it scrubs more effectively and more gently for bottom of pan type cleaning.I am a convert! Maybe I should buy them for all my friends for Christmas!

Was delivered to a shed, in my driveway grrr. Would not have seen it, had I not seen the email to say they had been delivered.Complained, as I was in all day. Plus we have a large parcel bin by our back door. Amazon have the instructions. This all happened before Covid 19 kicked off. This has happened so much and they still leave my stuff in weird places. Makes me so angry.Got a full refund, for my pains.Got these for the kitchen, as I wanted to be more eco friendly. They come flat and puff up when wet and stay puffed up.After the first use, decided I hated them. Cannot clean properly with them, too stiff and small.Have however found they are fantastic for cleaning carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes etc.However, used one on the bath after using. Work great for a quick clean. Use a different sponge when properly cleaning.Still using the original two I got out of the packet, so should last a long time.Would buy again, but only for the uses I stated.Only 4 stars, due to the issue I had.

Though it lasted longer than a normal sponge (scrubbing wise) it takes a few goes to become soft enough to clean glasses and bend to properly clean plates and cutlery. And even when it's softer it's still not the easiest thing to clean glasses with. Would not but it again, but would change my mind if the soft bendy issue was fixed because they did last pretty ok.

I'm really happy with these scourers as an alternative to plastic. I agree with other reviewers that they aren't as flexible as plastic sponges...but hey, a small inconvenience for a product that doesn't harm the environment. I'm finding they clean my dishes well and seem to rinse out very easily. They don't smell and I love that they have a loop for handing to dry. The packaging was simple and eco-friendly. Very happy customer!

I was not convinced about them at the beginning but that quickly changed. It takes 3-5 days for the sponge to soften enough but once that is done they perform really well. The last much more than conventional plastic sponges and you can wash them in the dishwasher and they came back as almost new. I purchased them in February and so far I have only sued two so far. I would definitely recommend this amazing and eco-friendly product

Ok you do have to accept that with some things you might need to soak a little longer or use a bit more elbow grease, but that’s a small exchange for the fact that it’s one less plastic thing going to landfill or in the ocean, and you know that eventually it will degrade naturally not causing any harm in the process. Have to say they work pretty well and last even better, still on the first one out the box, still going strong after several weeks and keeping it clean so it’s hygienic for continued use.

Overall this is a good alternative to the plastic version. It's not the same and take time to get used to. It's possibly a bit less universal than normal sponge but it's not plastic and I can just put it in my compost once I'm done with it, which is something more important than "it's not just the same". It won't be, let's be honest. time for all of us to stop expecting everything as e won't it and adjust a little for the sake of the planet. I don't know if I'm finished searching for my perfect alternative sponge, but this is a strong candidate. There's no comparison to the silicon versions, which are just useless. This is much better. There's a few of them in the box and they last much longer than normal sponges, so the cost is very fair. I suspect they might last me till the end of the year easily. They come in paper box which i was pleased to see.
