Energizer Recharge Universal Rechargeable AA Batteries (8 Pack), Double A Rechargeable Batteries

Awesome! Repeat purchase. I use these with an Opus BT-9100 charger, and these are my go-to batteries for almost everything. They last - both in each use, and over recharge after recharge. Pro tip: charge as slowly as you can for the best overall battery life. I’ll use 200mA/h if I’m not in any hurry, 500mA/h to speed things up, and rarely to never do I need 1,000/2,000mA/h recharging rate. Note that the NI/MH chemistry provides .2-.3V less than standard batteries, which works fine for almost everything I use them in. Yes, flashlights would be slightly dimmer for example, not to the extent I can even tell. To not buy countless disposable batteries I’m totally okay with that! Most devices that have a battery status indicator will show these as not 100% full also due to the lower voltage. These batteries handle high current demands very well (flashlights), and good overall life for slow drain devices (remote controls). I’ve been using some for years, only buying more as my needs increase. Even after years, I’ve not had to retire even one of these batteries!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love these. Buying more. Save money and recharge. Why buy packs of 20 batteries when you can get 8 rechargeable ones for half the price, with the charger?!?! Math people lol. The cost to recharge is pennies and they last forever. Charging when they go out is fast, and do it while sleeping so it doesn't impact your day!

After using rechargeable AA batteries for decades in many different devices, we have found these to charge easily, hold a charge for as long as expected, function well over many recharges, be easy to use, and not heat up like many of the other brands we've tried. Whether you get these online or at your hardware store, you won't be disappointed. We also use these as replacements for the factory batteries in our solar lights and find they deliver the same brightness as the OEM models and are less prone to rusting.

The batteries are one of the best brands. Rechargeable are hard to find for our solar lights. This was an 8 pack. Very happy with them.

These batteries are definitely use it or lose it items bought a 4 pack with a charger about 8 years ago, only charged once & then set in a drawer. Were unable to recharge. Hopefully I’ll have better luck with these new ones. The price on the new ones are a lot better. I’ll try some AAA…

Was an Energizer distributor from 1990-2005. Could purchase Alkaline AA batteries for .25 cents each. Retired now and get sticker shock every time I purchase Alkaline batteries retail! The Ni- Cad style rechargeable batteries were just not practical to use. They would not hold a charge in storage and needed to be charged before each use. These newer Metal-Hydride batteries come fully charged and will hold the charge till you need them. (Approximately 1 year) Game changer, Game over, Metal Hydride batteries are great!

Well these are rechargable batteries. They have been working exactly as one would expect them too. I really like that I am not putting one time use batteries in the trash. Makes me feel like I am helping the environment.
