Using this as a climbing rope and it works great.

If left outside, it can rot in a hidden area and fail unexpectedly.
I am writing this because I could not find a way to contact the seller directly. Someone using this rope day before yesterday fell 12 feet when the part of the rope that is hidden under the shrink-wrapped protector at the top broke, because it had rotted. This was not visible as it was hidden by the black shrink-wrap. This has been a great rope, but the person who fell broke both arms and some facial injuries, and could have suffered much worse injury. I wanted to tell the company directly about this, but could not find a way to contact them.

Awesome climbing rope
This has been hanging on our outdoor playset several months now and has held up very well. We added knots to make it easier to climb, and its length does stretch out over time. It holds kid and adult weight.

Didn’t last more than a year outside
We had the type outside and after about 11 months of gentle use it rotted from the black metal casing it was attached to at the top. Not great when my five year old loves to climb and swing on the rope.

Decent price for what you get but still sheds fibres.
The rope serves its purpose. It was the perfect length. However, it has a bit of a smell and it does fray and it has only been used a few times. A little messy.
