Taste is grande! Convenient packaging. Can store leftover, capped and in fridge. Wife uses LOTS and guests rave over it. Very good product on her pulled chicken enchiladas.

Good flavor, wish it was hotter
I have been on a quest to make cheese enchiladas as good as the restaurants in the Albuquerque area. This enchilada sauce is the first one I have run across that has a very good flavor, and my cheese enchiladas are turning out pretty tasty. Unfortunately, this brand only comes in mild. It would be better if they made a medium heat version. It certainly beats making enchilada sauce from scratch (using dried red chile peppers).

Love this! May be my new favorite over Old El Paso, although I just got the "hot" version of Old El Paso which I haven't had a chance to try yet. In the meantime, I can highly recommend LaVictoria. I make enchiladas every week!

Best authentic chili based enchilada sauce
I have been making Mexican style chili since the Earl 1970s. Back then, most enchilada sauces were made from chilies and not tomatoes. Many have changed to a tomato paste base, which is horrible to my palate. I recently went searching for a better enchilada sauce than OEP (now tomato based) and this is very good, and very rich, like a good mole. I am very happy to use this in our chili recipe, especially since it has no tomatoes. Tomatoes are fine for a Wisconsin-style chili, but not authentic Mexican-style, which should have chili powders, cumin, Mexican Oregano, and garlic as the sauce.
