If you know how to use a grinder, then this will work fine.
I like Norton, and this was also the "finest" grit wheel I could find on Amazon. It comes with the adaptor collets to get the bore down to your grinder shaft which, since haven't had to buy a new wheel in a long time, I would have not thought about. Mine came like expected, no cracks or nicks in the face, and the grit looks close to perfect for me. I have one higher grit to hog off material, and this to get it finer tuned, then file work, whetstones, and finally a finished sharp thing, and I use Norton for everything but my files.

Seems to be a good grinding wheel
Not much to say about a grinding wheel, but it seems to work good, i didn't care much for the plastic bushings, there is a little slop in them which can cause balance problems, but if you take your time installing it, it shouldn't be a problem, when i first tightened the nut down on my grinder it wobbled slightly, then i loosened and moved it just a bit and now it spins true.

worth the money
I like this brand. Their quality has always been good. I like the multiple size center rings to fit different size axial.

Norton Abrasive Wheel
This is a fine abrasive wheel for use in sharpening fine tools and working on small soft items. If you put a small piece of steel to it the steel will mark the wheel so use it from the side. It sharpens my screwdriver tips very well.

Saved my old grinder
Just when I thought the bearings on my grinder were toast, I bought a new wire wheel and this grind wheel and all is right again. It's balanced and cuts well.

Good wheel, bad arbors, worse shipping.
I got this wheel to sharpen my lathe tools. It is substantially better than the cheap one I picked up from Port Packages. Pros: Runs fairly cool. Ran true out of the box. Cons: The included arbors are hot garbage. They are so sloppy they fell right out the wheel when I went to mount it. I tossed them and used some Pferd bushings. The way they ship these could be much better. It arrived in a plain envelope with zero padding. All in all I'm happy with it. It fit my grinder and with the replacement arbors reduced the vibration on my grinder by a lot.

Provided arbor reducers are terrible
The grinding wheel arrived undamaged (thank you Amazon) and rang true when tested. The reason for making these wheels in a 1" size is to reduce manufacturer cost (increase profit perhaps) by not having to make multiple wheels for different sized arbors. The tolerances on the blue plastic spacers are terrible and render the wheel unusable in its packaged form. You will need to provide your own quality reducer/spacer if these wheels are to operate smoothly and safely.

This grinding wheel fit my 5” grinder without any issues. It also came with all the necessary shims to fit my particular bench grinder. It comes with 4 shims/spacers allowing it to fit various grinder shafts. After a quick trial run, the grinding wheel was well balanced (no wobbling). Note that it’s max RPM is 4970. Check your device before you buy.

Decent quality abrasive, but took some patience to get it to turn true and not wobble. Poor quality arbor bushings.
