Fender Super 250 Electric Guitar Strings, Nickel Plated Steel, Ball End, 250L .009-.042, 3-Pack

I've been using Fender Super 250's on my Strats for years. They're great strings for single coils, and HB's as well. Fender recently changed their packaging from a white sleeve to this new green box. Looks cool. However, Amazon has a long-time habit of sending me items that come in retail boxes like these strings, in a bubble bag or a thin paper bag. And every time the product's retail box is crushed to smitheroons. And every time, I send them back, even if the product isn't damaged, JUST because I'm tired of tolerating this bs. Good quality strings. 3 pack is great, as my son breaks strings often (because of his playing style) and they need to be replaced. Good value as even Guitar Center is charging $12 for one set of the same. Only downside was shipping was slow, but received as described.

I was using the 350L bullets on my Strats but they just were not lasting long. They showed wear almost immediately, requiring a string change every week. That gets old in a hurry.... I didn't notice that these weren't bullets when I bought them, I wish I had bought the bullets as they just seem like a better fit for a Strat. But, what I did like about these as that they are color coded for installation. The ends are just the right size too. These are just a bit heavier than the 350's but have the same sound. So far, no notice of wear yet either so I think I finally found my perfect Fender Electric string. They sound fantastic, bend well and were easy to install. I have 3 Strats and 1 Telecaster, these will be my strings of choice for all of these. I like buying the multi-packs. They are inexpensive and each set is packaged individually. I change strings often too, so always want plenty on hand. Strings can make or break a guitar. Put bad strings on a good guitar and it sounds bad. Put good string on a cheap guitar, and it sounds better. Put these on a high end guitar and you have the perfect formula. Everyone has their own personal reference when it comes to strings, this is my choice for Fender Electrics. 5 stars. The search is over

Tone: These strings sound just as good as the ernie balls and d'addario strings I have on my other guitars. They're bright sounding since they're .09s but they still have a quality sound. 4/5 Feel: They feel smooth and nice to bend. Being .09s they bend easily without much force. 4/5 Durability/Longevity: They are about equal to most other .09s and don’t break easily, even if you end up having to tune them up and down a bunch, just remember to wipe them down to stop them from oxidizing since they arent coated. 3.5/5 Price: They're 5 bucks (sometimes less if they're on sale) 5/5 Overall, If you’re looking for a budget set of strings to put on a beginner guitar (or several) that wont break during tuning, the Fender Super 250s are a great choice. They're versatile for alot of genres since theyre .09s.

I have always liked these strings. I use them on all my electric guitars, and while I occasionally try other strings, I always end up coming back to these. They have a clear, crisp, retro-style sound, perfect for blues and rock. They’re durable, they stay in tune, and they feel great. And the price is very reasonable. As an added point, I use them on my acoustic guitars as well.

If you're an absolute beginner who's never changed a guitar string before, you *might* want to ask your teacher (or a friend who plays, etc.) for help with these because they don't come labeled. It's just a set shoved into a bag together. But as long as you're experienced enough to know a .009 from a .011 these are just an insane good deal. I normally play Elixir Nanoweb on my electrics, but I'm working on restoring two old 90s guitars, and didn't want to spend the extra $30 on them. Since one is an actual Fender, and the other is a strat clone, these do the job nicely.
